About

Nui. Hostel & Bar Lounge is a hostel, café and bar located in Kuramae, a riverside neighbourhood near Asakusa and the Sumida River.

Our concept is to create a place that goes beyond borders, where travellers from around the world and local people in Tokyo can meet naturally.

Our café & bar lounge on the 1st floor is open to both staying guests and local customers. It is a lively place to enjoy coffee, meals and drinks, and a great opportunity to meet people from Tokyo and beyond. For guests who prefer a quieter setting, we also have common areas where you can relax, read, work or plan your trip at your own pace.

Please note that regular check-in is available from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Late check-in between 11:00 pm and midnight may be possible with advance notice and an additional fee. We are unable to accept check-ins after midnight.

I loved staying at Nui! The bunk bed was comfy and private, the staff were so helpful and kind, bathrooms were clean and the shower was amazing, and the cafe/bar is so cute for reading a book. I wish all hostels were like this!!

Excellent hostel! They have a bar that’s open from 6:00 PM until around midnight. Breakfast is available in the morning, and they also serve dinner in the evening. Throughout the day, you can purchase pastries, snacks, and beverages. One thing I really liked was that a lot of locals stop by, which gave the place a genuine neighborhood feel. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. You’ll find people working on their laptops, relaxing, or socializing. For the most part, it attracts a mature crowd. The locat

I love this place. I planned to only be in Tokyo for 4 nights but ended up staying here two weeks. I chose this hostel everytime, it felt like home. The staff are always so polite, helpful and kind. Even telling me to take an umbrella with me at times. The vibe is really chill, the cafe and bar is always full of locals which gives it a nice feel. Bathroom, dorm, kitchen and communal space is nicely designed - just very comfortable and clean. I will miss this place. I hope to be back one day
