Great hostel in a great location close to subway with easy access to Asakusa and Akihabara. Was great having a bar with good snacks and drink selection, was much needed after a long days sightseeing. Rooms were small but fine for Japanese standard.. you don't go to hostels to stay in your room so it was perfect for a nights sleep!

Fun, social place to stay. The bar downstairs made it easy to meet other travelers as well as locals. The location is decent, with two subway lines and Asakusa nearby. The dorm rooms were basic but got the job done. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Tokyo.

This place is not just a hostel, but also consist of an extremely charming hipster cafe that is rich in character and excellent vibes. Kuramae itself is also an interesting neighbourhood and Asakusa is a nice stroll away. Rooms are small but sufficient and facilities are always clean! The cafe/bar on the first floor is an excellent place to relax!

Great hostel! Very nice staff who speaks english, everything was clean and the bar is really cool too!!

hostel was clean and the bar downstairs was nice with the tree in the middle. Shared bathroom was also very clean and modern.

Great location and good atmosphere. The bar downstairs is good fun and you cannot hear it at all in the bedrooms.

An incredibly cool place!

Excellent hostel in great location. Close to public transport and lovely area for sight-seeing and shopping. Near the best cherry-blossom river walk in Tokyo. The staff were superb and we loved the bar/common area, where you could just chill, or eat/drink. The bathing facilities are excellent. More hooks in the bathrooms and the dorms would have been welcome, but that is a very minor quibble. Thanks!

Wifi strong all over Incredibly friendly and extra helpful staff Amazing coffee Good snack food Cool building and furnishings Great powerful hot showers Unisex toilets 🙅 the only downfall

Good place to stay!

A lot of reviewers say that this is the best hostel they ever stayed in, and I have to agree with them. Stayed for six nights and the service was both excellent and consistent. Bar on the first floor and guest lounge on the sixth floor are great places to meet people.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in, great design & facilities. Nicest bathrooms, and the locks on the doors where you just type a code in a far better than having to carry around keys. The beds are a little on the hard side, the staff come and clean the rooms between 11-3 everyday. The atmosphere was the only let down with other travellers not being very friendly and the most inconsiderate I have come across. Apart from that its great!

had horrendous, smelly, inconsiderate dorm mates but this didn't detract from the fact that it's a super cool hostel. great showers, good solid curtains around the bunks, 1m walk from kuramae metro station, cute friendly staff and like 30 secs away from two 7-elevens to negate the fact that there's no breakfast included. great value

Very stylish hostel with motivated, very friendly staff. The croissants in the morning were wonderful. Everything is very clean, despite the very cool shabby chic indoor design. ;) Our room was maybe a little too small, because we could hardly open our suitcase and were happy to have left the other one in Kyôto, but comfy nonetheless. Nui Hostel is located 15 min. by walk from Sensôji in Asakusa and about 20 mins. from Akihabara. Very convenient. The metro stations are also close by.
