Originally we had booked only 1 night at Oasis Hostel, yet 4 days later we are STILL here! and we've just booked 2 more nights. This is a wonderful and charming hostel with a really friendly family that runs it. They have lots of great advice on what to do and see there really isn't ever a dull moment around this place. It's in a quaint mexican neighborhood and only about a 15 min walk to the beach. Plus easy access to public transportation! The hostel is some far from the beaches, but you can go walking. The walk is over safe and quiet streets. Nice atmosphere. Free internet. Good breakfast. Nice terrace. It´s a shame this hostel is located so far from any useable beaches, and 10 minute walk from the restaurants in the centre of town. Still, it is a nice hostel. Good, clean place to stay but a bit out of town. Located on a main road so easy to get to with local bus from the airport or from the main bus station. Would recommend this place but get a room at the back of the hostel as the front rooms are noisy. Staff were helpful and the kitchen was well maintained.
