Casa Kraken Hostel

Hola! This is the Kraken Hostel and we want you to stay here! We're right in the center of downtown, next to the church, the plaza, and townhall. We're close to everything: beaches, bars, shopping, markets, bus stops, etc. Right now during the summer months we offer A/C at night (FROM 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM ) in all of our dorms. We have free daily activities, taking you to beautiful beaches and waterfalls, going on a hike, a tour of the town, or going out to party! We have a rooftop bar that operates most nights of the week for sunset happy hour (pre-game!). We're a safe hostel with good vibes. All of our staff and volunteers are super friendly and helpful. We like adventure and a good party, and make the best food recommendations. So stop your search and come stay with us! Much love, fellow travellers!

Casa Kraken is located in between the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the main square (adjacent to the city hall). We are also a block away from the main area of the Malecon: the seahorse statue and the outdoor amphitheater (right next to Los Arcos).

In total we have three dorms: we have an eight bed female dorm and two eight bed mixed dorms, all dorms have A/C (in the summer months only). They all come with oscolating floor fans and ceiling fans. There are also assigned lockers (with a padlock) inside the dorms for each guest. Staff members organize bar crawls, day trips to the beach, various hikes, and Spanish lessons; feel free to ask for any events! We have a beautiful ocean and city view from our rooftop terrace that is not to be missed.

Casa Kraken Hostel Policies and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival.

Check in from 13:00.
Check out before 11:00.

Payment upon arrival by cash only (Mexican Pesos Only) We dont take cards.

Taxes included.
Breakfast included from 8AM until 10AM.

General:

The reception service is open from 08.00 to 22.00

No curfew.

Friends and Non-Guests are not allowed inside the hostel for security reasons.

Guests can´t switch beds or rooms without permission from staff/management

We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age or over 50 years of age.

Guests should wash the dishes used in the kitchen in order to keep the facilities clean for everyone. No food/drinks allowed in the rooms.

No hard drugs or weapons allowed in the bulding.



The maximum period of stay is 10 days.

Pets are not allowed.

You must send confirmation of arrival email two days prior when possible.

Check in and check out only between 8 am and 10 pm. our hostel front desk is only open from 8 am to 10 pm. If you need an extraordinary check in or check out please email us and arrange it at an extra cost. We are not responsible for flight or any kind of delays.

Valid national Id is strictly required for check in or loss of reservation will be applied. If you are not a Mexican national only passport applies.

In the case that you can't pay the total on arrival you will have to pay the normal walk-in rate at the time for every day.
