Clean hostel, great staff, excelent heat inside the hostel

That's quite regular hostel. It's not bad, but I think you can find the better one in Brasov. I've stayed there only one night and in the second dorm room some group partyed noisy. Staff didn't do anything. But it was only bad thing in the hostel. So, I think if they will work better for some hostel-rules (ex.: silence after 11 p.m.) it's gonna be very good option to stay in Brasov.

I really enjoyed my time at this hostel and would happily stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were reasonable and clean, and I really liked the location. I do think perhaps they should update their website - it lists several things the hostel does not in fact have - and I must say it is a bit unusual to hire a 'locker' that has no back and iseasily accesible to all.

They smoke in the kitchen, and even though they close the kitchen door, the rest of the hostel smells like smoke--never mind that you have to make your food in a smoke-filled room.

All in all the hostel was pretty good. It is in a great location and is quite secure. The guy that was working however was pretty poor. We asked him how to get to the bus station that would take us to Bran and he sent us on the completely wrong bus, also at breakfast the coffee had been the same pot for 3 days (yum!) He also smoked in the hostel even though it was a non-smoking hostel and it wasn't even that cold outside! Beds were comfy and there's a nice living area with a TV and DVDs.

Only stopped one night but seemed okay.

The sofa in the "common room" is kind of uncomfortable, and the kitchen isn't very cozy. But apart from that, a good hostel with friendly and informative staff (especially the girl Andra). Beyond that, I would also suggest them to buy some more chairs for the yard...

I thoroughly enjoyed Old Town Brasov Hostel! I was immediately met with extreme kindness and met so many amazing people while I was staying there! I highly recommend this hostel to anyone on a budget, especially those that like to meet new people and enjoy traveling without worrying about your things being stolen. The only downside, was that the shower was semi-broken and water would get out of the doors, soaking the bathroom floor. There seemed to be no way to avoid this.

A delightful place. This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Brasov and its nearby towns. I would like to return one day. Thanks!

Sometimes just 2 bathrooms was definitely not enough for so many people staying at the hostel. Queues were huuuuge. At first I was taken aback that there was no keys to the rooms but the hostel turned out to be perfectly safe, so finally it didn't matter.
