Staff is SUPER friendly and very helpful. The lobby is warm, cozy and always has lots of people hanging out in it. Wifi was spotty in the room but good in lobby. My only major negative about this place is that I would NOT recommend staying here if there is a chance of it raining in Kotor. It rained most of the time we were there and the hostel is located above a few flights of stairs which due to the rain literally became a WATERFALL. We were soaked by the time we got to the hostel!
Loved the room, staff and location - we had a great stay despite the rain!

Went to Kotor on a whim and will definitely return. Great hostel for meeting other solo travelers and the staff make every effort to include everyone. Food and drink provided by the hostel was awesome and the common room was such a social place. Cannot recommend staying here enough. For the price. Incredible. Thanks for finishing my trip on such a high!
BE WARNED - If you enter Old Town Kotor, you might not ever leave!
I booked 4 nights but stayed over 2 weeks here! I am convinced there is not a better hostel on the face of the earth. I had the best time here and I would come back 2 thousand times more! Nikola, Russ, Dijana, Nico and all of the staff are Great! Cheers to Old Town Hostel Kotor!!
Really good social atmosphere, stayed longer than planned.
The Old Town hostel is quite nice, and Kotor is a charming town to visit. It is also a good base to do day trips to the rest Montenegro. I was staying in the four bed dorm, which had a balcony and big windows overlooking the cute marble stone alley below. Bed was very comfy. Kitchen was clean enough with everything you might need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only problems were the leaking shower/toilet in the bathroom and that the street below can be quiet noisy until about midnight.

It was really really great good location, nice staff, every night party It was the best hostel ever thank you so much for everyrhing!
Perfect. nothing to complain about. Fantastic staff. Great partys. Good fun.
The staff are this hostels biggest asset, in particular Nicola who is an amazing host. The evening activities are fun, especially the Rakija nights. They will go out of their way to assist you with whatever help you need. My only gripe was the wifi not working in my room (room 6) try to avoid the higher levels as the wifi doesnt really reach there. would definitely stay again.
Guy who was running it was great - apparently people in the dorm we were supposed to be staying in hadn't checked out in time so he upgraded us to one of the private apartments free of charge which was great! Fun place, guy running it made everyone dinner (mussels) the night we were there and then almost everyone staying there went out to a bar, very sociable place.
There were not one single thing to complane about. I aldo recomend the tours they have!
Perfect stay. Comfortable place in a charming area. Extended my stay mostly for the friendly staff who are very helpful, if you come to Kotor don't think twice.
A nice hostel -- atmosphere and fantastic dorm rooms were highlights. Staff put on various activities each night, often with free drinks and meals. It's a party hostel, so be aware of that. There are some good tours offered too, although similar tours are cheaper at at least one other Kotor hostel.
It's worth it to make it to Kotor just to stay at Old Town Hostel! That's how amazing this place is!
Very good hostel, great facilities. A bit of a party place at night if that's what you're after.
The best Hostel in the Balkans! The best atmosphere, the best staff, the best facilities and just so much fun! I checked in for three nights ended up staying a whole week. The staff are always doing something in the evenings in the common room which is awesome for meeting new people and getting ready for a night out in Kotor. Nikola (brate moj!!!) and Ross do an amazing job of making the atmosphere fantastic every single night. I'll definitely be back here and will recommend this Hostel highly.
This was my favourite hostel out of all 11 we stayed at on this trip. The stand alone kitchen is a little under supplied but each room has a small kitchen that makes up for it. Everything else is perfect and this hostel has the most character I've ever seen!
A fantastic place to stay! Amazing location and aesthetic. Only real downside was that there were only three powerpoints in the whole dorm room, two of which were hidden in a cupboard. It's understandably difficult to wire up an old stone building, but it'd be good to have powerboards from the powerpoints to maximise the number available. Beds were comfortable and seemed new, though more basic than lots of hostels offer nowadays (e.g. no curtains). Inconveniently placed light-switches.
One of the most beautiful hostels we went to. Good atmosfere during the free sangria night
