A nice hostel -- atmosphere and fantastic dorm rooms were highlights. Staff put on various activities each night, often with free drinks and meals. It's a party hostel, so be aware of that. There are some good tours offered too, although similar tours are cheaper at at least one other Kotor hostel.
It's worth it to make it to Kotor just to stay at Old Town Hostel! That's how amazing this place is!
Very good hostel, great facilities. A bit of a party place at night if that's what you're after.
The best Hostel in the Balkans! The best atmosphere, the best staff, the best facilities and just so much fun! I checked in for three nights ended up staying a whole week. The staff are always doing something in the evenings in the common room which is awesome for meeting new people and getting ready for a night out in Kotor. Nikola (brate moj!!!) and Ross do an amazing job of making the atmosphere fantastic every single night. I'll definitely be back here and will recommend this Hostel highly.
This was my favourite hostel out of all 11 we stayed at on this trip. The stand alone kitchen is a little under supplied but each room has a small kitchen that makes up for it. Everything else is perfect and this hostel has the most character I've ever seen!
A fantastic place to stay! Amazing location and aesthetic. Only real downside was that there were only three powerpoints in the whole dorm room, two of which were hidden in a cupboard. It's understandably difficult to wire up an old stone building, but it'd be good to have powerboards from the powerpoints to maximise the number available. Beds were comfortable and seemed new, though more basic than lots of hostels offer nowadays (e.g. no curtains). Inconveniently placed light-switches.
One of the most beautiful hostels we went to. Good atmosfere during the free sangria night
A wonderful stay. There are party's for those who want them but the dorms seem perfectly peaceful. Wonderful social atmosphere. The 10 bed is huge. Good wifi, really neat old building, and something different every night. Mussels my first night were incredible and free. Great tour of the area around Kotor too. Highly recommended. If searching for cheap but good food, head towards the bus station out of the old town. Great grills!
Good staff, great location, amazing old building within the old town, good social atmosphere, individual lockers, good beds n dorms, good cooking facilities. More of a party hostel and loud at night because of being on a main street of old town. Definitely recommend it though. They also do free cocktails and snacks (mussels) most of the time. I spent 3 nights and had a comfortable stay.
Such good value for money, one of the cheapest and I think THE BEST hostel I stayed in. In the old town itself, and only 5 mins from the bus station, so unbeatable location and also such a pretty old town building! Always something on in the bar, free food/ free drinks/ tour meeting point etc. so great for meeting lots of people, super friendly staff who genuinely want everyone to enjoy their stay and create a lovely atmosphere so every one does!
Definitely a social/party hostel, very laid back. Activities are organized every night, so it's pretty easy to meet people there, but the actions moves out to bars/clubs around 11pm, so getting the noise is not really an issue. Rooms are comfy and each has a kitchenette with fridge and own bathroom. Location is great, right in the center of town (which is very small anyways). The hostel is cute enough that many tourists stop and take pictures of it. Definitely a nice place to stay.
Best hostel ever, love you guys. Cheers from Mexico!
The staff and atmosphere was great - every night they had some thing, like free sangria, free shots and free mussels - Amazing. The staff really get involved with you and with the other guests. The only thing was that we could lock our dorm door which exited to the outside world, however Kotor seemed quite safe. The bathroom was a bit of a water pit on the ground which was a bit horrible. Very spacey dorms.
