Great hostel, modern facilities, very clean, helpful staff and situated in a good central location. The only minor issues I found were that there was not enough electrical sockets in the dorm room for everyone to use and wifi could be pretty patchy...I usually couldn't access wifi from the dorm room. However generally very good, would be happy to stay again.

Our stay in Oporto Poets Hostel was nice, but nothing really special. Part of the staff was nice, but it was a bit weird when one of the girls who worked there laid down at 10 pm in the common room (with the TV and couches) to sleep. We couldn't sit in our 8-bed-room, but didn't feel comfortable in the common room either with the girl sleeping there. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The kitchen is not really well equipped (no oil, no spices, no butter), so cooking doesn't make fun.

The breakfast could have been better - very watery orange juice and nothing left of the (apperently very good) cake at 9:45h. But, the guest could have got up earlier to catch this. I didn't spot coffee, possibly I oversaw it though.

Anais, the room, was a little cold the first night, but she warmed up as days went by. Good location if you don't mind the hills, which we didn't. Close to Sao Bento railway station, take the suburban trains to Braga, Aveiro. .. which are very cheap. Friendly staff. Breakfast really thin, you'll have to supplement it. We met a number of pilgrims doing the Camino de Santiago Portugues, which was interesting.

the staff are excellent . The facility is very modern and clean The showers have much to be desired. no hot water and the jets created puddles on the floor. They had a free tour of the city which was excellent. Brk was just okay. had better when walking the camino and the price of the facil.ity was equivalent. Overall, I would recommend it

Great hostel in a great location close to the Sao Bento train station. There were not many others when we stayed so the hostel wasn't particularly lively but the facilities were good and it meant we had a good night's sleep. The beds were comfortable, the linen and rooms really clean, and the kitchen was well-supplied. For the price, service provided, and latin I would definitely recommend staying here.

The hostel is very nice and clean, well-decorated. They also provide dinner which only costs 10 euros and free tours. If I have chance to come Porto again, I will stay in this hostel again as well!

Thank you Poets! I loved staying with you. The hostel was very clean & safe. I loved all the little extra touches like artwork on the walls & reading lights for each bed. The staff were lovely & very knowledgable. I especially enjoyed the home cooked dinner that was offered each night for guests and even the staff ate with us with was really nice. I loved the free activites each day - one day it was a walking tour & another day I did a cellar tour. Thanks again, I will definitely recommend you.
