The hostel is located a short distance from the Lima airport. We were staying overnight and leaving the next morning to Cusco. The breakfast was great and included scrambled eggs and fresh fruit and buns.

A lot of people mark this hostel down because of location. It's near the airport. If you want to be close to the airport, then the location is perfect. If you want to see Lima, obviously you should go to Miraflores. This hostel was actually surprisingly great. Awesome breakfast with fruit, cereal, cake, bread, coffee etc. Tons of games (pingpong, pool), and an excellent DVD collection. The atmosphere is a little meh since it's not the kind of place you stay for more than a night.

Location is bad. only interesting if come or go to airport. Taxi of the hotel is expensive. there are a lot of taxis in the street in front of the hotel you can take for less. Also in de middel of the night.

Great if you have a flight out the next morning, otherwise head into Miraflores. It's a bit noisy being next to a main road, but hard to beat the location if you have an early flight! Airport pickup was smooth and easy and worth the Soles.

We had booked a double and a single room and they tried to put us in a triple. One girl wasn't to helpful, but the rest were very nice. The taxi service is to expensive, it's only 3 minutes and they overcharge you. Take a taxi on the street. They definitely need more light in the common breakfast room, it's dark like in a bar and the room has no windows.

OK hostel in good location close to the airport. A long way from the centre of town though if you are looking to go there, we had trouble getting a cab back that night. Also, we were charged for 10 beers for our tab for the night, when we actually only drank 5 or 6. Not sure if this was a genuine mistake or a money making scheme.

Nothing special, crappy place very close to the airport. Theoretically useful for overnight stays but with overpriced airport transfers you might as well stay in Miraflores. It was quite dead when I went, and there is nothing to do in the neighbourhood. Not recommended.

Perfect place if you just want to be close to the airport - has a pool table, foosball, guitar, and bar. It is a very short ride back and forth to the airport. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Do not stay here if your intention is to really visit Lima. You have to use taxis in this neighborhood. Location is difficult to give a score here. It is "excellent" for staying close the airport. It is "very poor" as the security is not good and it is far from the city center.

Nice hostel with close proximity to airport. Not best location other than that although near a great supermarket and a couple of local markets which you can buy food to cook in the hostel. Great DVD collection and chill out space. Becareful of the showers, they look old and if you touch the top you can get a electric shock.

Good location by airport, which serves its purpose as an airport hostel, subsequently lacks atmosphere as people come and go as I did. Transfer to airport good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

LOVED staying at Pay Purix. With the hammocks on the rooftop, plus two areas to hang out downstairs, it was a nice refuge in Lima. We were only there one night after returning from the Inca Trek, but Henry at the front desk was very helpful in recommending places to go, things to try, and helping us get a quick taxi to the airport after one that I had arranged fell through. You also can't beat the fact that it is super close to the airport.

The location is really good if you have to catch a flight early in the morning. It is ca 30 minute walk to the airport from the hostel. There is a giant supermarket (with a hardware store and bunch of fast food places) located about eight blocks from the hostel and plenty of places to get cheap lunch nearby. Some of the staff did speak English, and some were really eager to sell me the airport transfer for 22 soles (taxi should cost around 7). Nice kitchen, and entertainment available.

Area is not really nice, especially not at night, and not many restaurants/shops around, but ok it is close to the airport so convenient if you need to fly early or arrive late. We arranged a pick-up from the airport through the hostel, but they never showed up, not even after phoning them. We waited for 2h, as the official taxis didn't know the place and could not drive us there... We think the hostel once had a nice atmosphere and character, but it seems faded.

it is convenient if you need to stay really close to the airport. the neighborhood is pretty nasty. it's good for the price if it's convenience to the airport is all you're looking for. it is otherwise a 20-30 soles cab ride to miraflores and maybe 15-20 to lima centre. the facilities were good, the staff was pretty nice and helpful, and it appears to be pretty secured. you get your own lockers in the room, which is nice. it's kept pretty clean and the wifi is decent in the common area.
