It said that all staff members speak english, but there was a guy working there who definitely did not speak english

Staff were a bit keen when I first arrived. If you've been on the road all day you really just want a shower and a sleep. The 6 flights of stairs were pretty brutal too. Atmosphere is good for a lone traveler wanting some company though. The WiFi isn't free at night and there was 1 working socket between 3 of us. During the day it was fine though. Staff were pretty cool, no curfew, beautiful view. What you'd expect from a bar/nightclub. No breakfast, ok security, not much peace, plenty of love.

Walking in to check in was a big mess. The main entrance is a bar so arriving late is much worse than going through people eating breakfast in the morning. The walls are extremely thin. To sleep, everyone in your floor had to be asleep.

Second best hostel I've stayedat! Freaking amazing atmosphere, always people to go out and grab a beer/eat or just chill in the lounge. Every day I was doing things with people I met! Met some cool people. The location is awesome, 5-10 minute walk to the gare du nord or 1 minute walk to subway that takes you there. Lots of food places near the hostel and a few supermarkets. I thin you should stay at this hostel!

The staff were very friendly, but it was so noisy and cramped that I barely slept a wink. This is of course to be expected when there is a bar/club below, which was well advertised. But I would recommend this hostel much more for those not intending to sleep! I was passing through on business, and so it unfortunately didn't meet my needs.

You're getting what you pay for. Nice staff, good atmosphere, but the rooms are tight (step over a bed to get to the bedroom). If you are willing to spend 5-10 euros more a night, I would go to St Christopher's down the street instead.

The location of the Hostel is good, a nice park in the neighborhood and not to far away from everything. The 3-Bed room was very small and the shower was directly in the room without any privacy. No free Wifi in the rooms and in the Bar only during daytime.

Some receptionist was very good but not all of them... I think about one guy who don't answer sometime when I talk with him. But when a girl stay in living room, she can do that she want he will try too make "friend" with her. What the hell? I mean when you are 15 it's normal but he look like 40. Weeiiiiird!

The facilities in this Hostel need to be improved. And I think it should inform every visitor on line that there is very little space for each one. I didn`t realise the room was so small until I arrived. The photos they put on line don`t tell the truth.

If you get a street adjacent room bring ear plugs. Ambulance bay is across the street as is a late night club. But location and price are great and staff is very friendly.

The staff was excellent and always wanted to get to know their guests. It was a race to use the one restroom in the morning (one restroom for a room of about 12). It is close to a metro to get to the sites. No lockers provided, but I did not leave anything valuable in the room when I was not in it. The kitchen was accessible and convenient.

Do NOT stay at this hostel if you value common decency in others. The facilities are pretty bad but the staff is even worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were rude to us, they changed our reservation multiple time, they lost the key to the luggage room, and they were very unkind to the lone cleaning man, the only nice person in the entire hostel. I was also uncomfortable being around the unsavory characters who frequent the hostel's bar. As a woman, I felt unsafe. Do NOT stay here! Worse than you think.

The room was really small and I had a problem with my booking. Showers are also really small, but other than that, it was okay.

I was in the room 18, in the 6th floor by stairs. I've a big and heavy bag that I needed to take with me to the room. There was a single key for all the room mates and we need to share it. The room was very clean.
