The Caulaincourt offers you dormitories ,single, twin, double and triple rooms some with private showers all with:

- FREE French style breakfast (croissant, orange juice, cereals, teas and coffee).
- FREE Hot shower day and night.
- FREE Maps
- Towels are not provided in the dorms but can be rented at the reception of the hostel.
- Pillows, blankets and fitted sheets for the mattress are provided.

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The shower had visible mould, the walls had holes and damage, and there was very little privacy. Overall, the accommodation felt poorly maintained and uncomfortable. Basic cleanliness, maintenance, and privacy should be expected, even in a hostel. I would not stay here again.

The place is in a great location. The communal areas are clean and stylish. The three-bed room I was allocated was more or less clean. The bathroom extractor fan was running constantly; the water running down the pipes from the upper floors was very audible, which woke me up during the night (I’m normally a deep sleeper); the mattress was of poor quality and the bed was small (I could touch the end of it even though I’m 1.75 m tall).
