Overall a good hostel. My biggest complaint is that the one common area is not conducive to meeting people, which might suit some groups just fine. The cafe and rooftop are both very nice, but pricey and cater to the affluent Chinese crowd that frequents this area) Pros: central location, front desk was very helpful and spoke good English, clean rooms, alcohol can be brought into the common area Cons: common area is not conducive to meeting other people due to separated tables
the uper bed is kind of too narrow ，and there is only one barthroom on second floor ，that's far not enough ！
The place is beautiful, and the location is perfect. My only complaint is the bathroom. There's only one bathroom for the hostel to use (excluding the half bath on the 1st floor), and there was usually a wait. It also tended to get dirty pretty quickly. The ambiance and overall feel of the hostel is amazing – the entire place is like a botanical garden. And the staff / travelers staying there were all really great.

This hostel in one of Beijing's remaining Hutongs was outstanding. The young staff members were very knowledgeable about buses, bus fares, subway stops, etc. They organized excellent tours, helped us with our return flight to Shanghai and even helped us carry our luggage to the street to take a taxi to the airport. They were all very helpful, sweet and caring. The subway is right near the hostel and there's a restaurant attached to the hostel. Very nice place!
The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is great, just 4 minutes away from the subway, which by the way is very easy to use in Beijing, close to everything. The place is great and tons of cool people. I made pretty good friends there. Highly recommended.
Best hostal experience ever after been to so many places round the world. Friendly staffs, chill atmosphere and nice location. Best of luck to the girl at the counter, who's planning to travel to NYC!!:)
All round a pretty good hostel. Really nice little café down stairs which does a good breakfast. The only down side was that the bathrooms where a bit run down and smelly.
There isn't a party happening in here, but this is exactly where you should stay in Beijing. It's the only spot of its kind in the city. There are endless groomed flowers throughout the place making it the only place in the city with good air quality, it's incredibly clean, comfortable and chill, and is located in what I feel is the coolest street in the whole city. Do it, that's all I can say. We left the Sanlitun hostel for this place. Great call.
