I stayed here while attending TCAF events, which were within walking distance of the hostel. It’s also next to Kensington Market and all of the great dining options there. Our private room was clean and secure, though I wasn't a fan of sharing a one-person bathroom with the suite.

An amazing hostel - The staff are friendly, helpful and very nice! Carl (from Liverpool) showed us to our room and as a fellow Brit, it was nice to hear a familiar accent! The view from the Rooftop garden was beautiful, day and night and there were so many activities, that unfortunately I did not have the time to participate in! Location is good, extremely clean and modern everywhere! JUST A GREAT PLACE IN GENERAL, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you :)

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean place, many travellers so good for meeting a lot of people (for the kitchen sometimes too many). Next to the Chinese quarter; a bit further to the centre. BBQ on rooftop terrace was very nice!

Very nice and modern hostel, great party athmosphere. The rooms are very small, hardly fit the bag between the beds. Bit overpriced and the location is not so good for basic tourism

Rooms are tiny -- had to push bed back and forth in order to access both sides (double bed, two people). No shelf or hanger. Used upper bunk as closet. Total equipment: bunk bed, mirror on wall, floor reading lamp. However, all was new and clean. Apparently the 20-something crowd really gets into the Friday and Sat night parties. Music ran until 2 am on Friday and later on Saturday -- booming down from the rooftop lounge. Basement kitchen/lounge is very attractive, big TV, lots wifi.

Certainly one of the best hostels I have ever been! The only criticism: Not enough fridges to store food.

The best hostel I have stayed at! Everything is new, super modern, and clean. Beds are comfy, sheets and towels smell of fresh laundry. The staff was really nice and helpful. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The rooftop is a great place to get some work done on your laptop during the day, and have beers with other travelers at night. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Toronto.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Amazingly tidy and well-run; the small details that make a hostel more than just a place to crash and party were perfect: lockers that work, privacy on your floor and in your room, clean bathrooms, sheets and towels, a variety of common spaces, a large and well-run kitchen. Good free coffee and a good, simple breakfast. I felt like I could either keep to myself or meet interesting people; and a free barbecue on Saturday night didn't hurt.

The hostel was greeeat! I would definatly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hostel in Toronto. I've also stayed in other hostel in Toronto and the other one compared to this one was faar worse. In the Planet Traveller the bathroom is literally as in the hotel. Everything is clean and new. You can get access to WiFi network in every room. On the roof there is place where you can sit with friends and enjoy an amazing view of Toronto's scyscrappers. That is the place to go! :)

The rooms are very noisy and hard to sleep well in. The walls, windows and doors are very thin, with gaps in the doors, so that sounds from the hallways and other rooms are not muffled at all. The worst part was the noisiness of the door latches and handles. The latches make the door accelerate shut, making a loud noise from the latch and a slam from the door. In the private rooms, a guest has to pass through three doors to get to their room, increasing the frequency of the noise.
