The owner of the Hostel is extremely helpful and has great english. He helped us get around and plan the rest of our trip around China. We also saw him help many of the other backpackers book their tickets to travel around China. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. The hostel is located in a great little secluded complex and in a great location to easily access all the major tourist destinations. We highly recommend this hostel largely due to the very helpful hostel owner.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. the location and the ambiance was very good. the location was very convenient as metro was very close and esp reaching the Guangzhou airport was very convenient. A little overpriced but fair value for money.

This place is very good to stay for several days in Guangzhou. Obviously, it is not a hostel in general, it is closer to rent apartment , but anyway it's awesome and all the time it was full of guests. Pluses: close to subway, some cheap and small restaurants, shops, etc. Minuses: it depends on your aim to be in Gz - for me it was necessary to visit Canton Fair in Pazhou, so it takes about three trains to reach it. But if you just travelling and messing around in Gz - it is perfect for any guest

The owners were friendly and made us feel right at home and part of the family . The location is excellent with a subway station just 2 minutes away. There are also lots of nice local restaurants in the area.

I loved this place! The staff is so nice and they make you feel like at home since the first moment. The area where the hostel is located at is very nice as well. I will definitely stay again at this place on my next visit to Guangzhou!

The wonderful people at this House/hostel are the best hosts I have come across in 3 full years of traveling. I am a business traveller and normally I like to stay in a hotel to be alone and away from noisy tourists that stay in budget hostels, however, the hosts in Plum Flowers are second to none. They always go over and above to make you feel comfortable and prepared for your travels. I have stayed twice now and will come back again and again.

the host was extremely friendly and nice. he n his mother allowed us to check in at 7am in the morning. his english is extremely good and was very helpful about things to do in guangzhou. the private room had a private western bathroom, however the bathroom in the living room is a squatter. our room was extremely humid n stuffy, which might be cause by the weather, it was a whole week of rain. the bed was also extremely hard, but overall, the place was good.

This is not a hostel, it is a homestay. The owner is very vey nice and gives you a warm welcome with some tea. He speaks English but his mother doesn't. It is in a nice and safe neighberhood. Pretty far from the city center but there is a subway nearby. The double bed is as hard as rock, that was the only problem we had.

The staff is extremely friendly and accomidating. This is a guesthouse. Although there is no "common room" it is still fun to chat with other travelers and the hosts in the living room.

Plum Flower Hostel was one of the friendliest hostels I have stayed in. It was very handy to local transportation and the area was very safe. They made my stay in Guangzhou a memorable one.

the Plumflower House is situated in a upper middle class suburb, close to 1 of the most important metrolines (the airportline) I was greeted with tea & sincere Chinese hospitally. I slept in the doubleroom, so I had the luxury of a private shower&bathroom. In my former experiences in China I found the beds rather uncomfortable, but I slept like a baby in the large doublebed. Added bonus is that Chun (who seem to ran the place) spoke sufficient english to maintain a good conversation.
