The senora was very kind and accommodating. We knew in advance that it was a bit far from town and were ok with that. It was the rooms themselves that left much to be desired-- a door that was hard to lock with a big crack left open for mosquitoes, stained-looking sheets, a bug found in bed (though presumably not a bed bug), bare walls with a solitary bright lightbulb hanging from the celing, poor ventiliation and thus very hot. Rooms were big,clean with tv (3 local channels), wifi fast in lobby but need your own computer and it is VERY cheap for Playa. Would not stay here for any longer than 2 days as it is about a 15 minute walk from the center of town/beach (safe to walk home until about 12pm we were told, any later grab a taxi).
