Though next to trains but doesn't bother much for tired travellers.

we stayed there for two nights and everything was okay. it was good that they have private bathrooms in each of the shared rooms. the location wasn't as good as we expected but fortunately the subway station was like only five minutes away. it was a pretty small hostel and hopefully they will expand its size in the future.

The hostel was clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, close to 2 subway stops. It is quite noisy though because it is so close to the road and subwa so i would recommend ear plugs.

We might be a little biased because we've stayed at some really nice hostels, but we give Q4 a solid "OK". Staff was nice, and the hostel offered free tours, and it was very clean. Free wifi which is good, though it could be slow/flakey. The beds were probably my biggest complaint, as the mattresses are suuuper squishy/uncomfortable. Also each bed doesn't have it's own light/outlet etc. Subway next door is convenient but really loud. I saw ear plugs behind the front desk though!

Tell people when you're changing their rooms in the middle of a stay. Very irritating coming back to find all my stuff gone and not knowing what was going on. Apart from that, nice hostel!

Very disappointing, we had the smallest room on the top level and no elevator - even although we had booked 5 months in advance. My comments are on Tripadvisor, would not recommend

We got a private double room which was never cleaned during the full week. The noise of the trains are very annoying as also happening during the night. However the bed was very comfortable and we slept well anyway but for sensitive people the noise could be a nightmare. One thing that annoyed us very much was the 10$ charge for leaving the 2 luggages after the check out for few hours ...

The good: extremely clean. Hats off to the staff for maintaining a spotless place. The bad: extremely noisy. The entire building is hard surfaced, and every sound travels--even from one floor to another. That wouldn't be so bad, but there seems to be no effort to establish any quiet hours. This adds up to making sleep all but impossible.

The tour organized by the Q4 Hotel to the Brooklyn bridge was very agreeable, it was really a good surprise! Q4 Hotel’s staff is very professional and very kind. The acquaintanceship space at basement is an excellent place to make friends from every part of the world. Qeensboro’s neighborhood is noise because the rail, but if you want to be near a subway station you will get this noise anywhere in the world. Just bring your ear tampon. The mattress could be better.

Excelent Hostel, Location is great since there are four train lines to catch just 50 from the hostel. The common room has an amazing friendly atmosphere. Great experience for my first time in a hostel.

Very good hostel, very helpful specially in New York. As always, everything can be improved, as the shower that does not drain for exemple, but overall, it is a very good experience. Thank you.
