this hostel is awesome :) it's modern, new and the staff is also young and always available. there're three subwaystations near the hostel, so it's easy to go to new york or other cities. it's a great place to stay :)

A great launching point to get to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, it is a bit more of a challence to get into Staten Island or the Bronx but it is good. a great # of interesting people made their way through there as well. a good experience and great place for sure.

This was my first hostel experience. I was so pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. Q4 was a fun place for me to hang out and meet people as well.

Fantasic common room, kitchen facilities. Biggest plus was the location: 2 min walk to 2 subway stations, with about 7 diff train lines. Only takes 10 to get into the city. Amazing value for money when you consider the cost of manhatten accomodation.

This place is stunning. Its gotta a great kitchen, community area, and great central location from Manhattan. I've been all through Europe and this American hostel competes at the highest levels. My only compliant is the mattress with sags really bad in the middle. Kinda bad for you back. But, maybe i'm old.

Clean, pretty, amazing decoration, amazing environment. Nice kitchen, nice common areas, you can cook and save your food in the fridge. Free wifi, nice dorms and bathrooms, one of the best hostels I've ever been. Something very good is that the price they say it is, it is, because on other places you get extra charges. We payed so little for such an amazing staying!

For 40$ a night I really would have wished to have a breakfast included, and I also did not like the 5$ fee to pay in order to store my luggage on my last day before leaving for the airport. The Q4 is a very clean and safe place to stay with a well-equipped kitchen and leisure room in which you can meet other guests. Its location in Queens is no disadvantage at all because it has two subway stations a three-minute-walk away and you're in Manhattan in less than ten minutes. I would recommend it

We had really nice stay! I loved the decoration of the common areas and the rooms. The only drawback it has in my opinion is the lack of elevator. It would be nice if they at least help you carry your luggage upstairs, specially if your room is in the third of fourth flour and you have big baggage!

It is a great place to stay in NYC. Staff is very helpful and the place is very secure and clean. It is an excellent place to know different people from all over the world and have some great nights in the cool basement.

new building, clean rooms, noisy location with subway outside, but well isolated. Awesome livingroom in the basement to meet other tourists. No breakfast included

The hostel is really well located, because you are just two blocks away from the Queens Boro Plaza subway station, and then just 3-5 minutes away from Manhattan. The hostel is also very clean and safe. So, it's mostly like a hotel, but with a reasonable price. The guys at the front desk could smile a little bit, but they are not rude at the end.

Very nice clean place. helpful staff. Great basement. Met some really interesting people there. My only issue is that as soon as I checked out the staff became a lot harsher than they were prior to my check out. I felt that was uncalled for.

Very clean, helpful staff and felt very safe. The room was noisy but because off the trains outside, but you get use to them very quickly. Coffee making facilities in the rooms would be good. Would recommend the hostel to anyone.
