Raul's was great for what it was. It was an inexpensive private room with our own shower and two beds. They even gave us a towel and extra blankets. The room had a fan (which was enough), TV, coffee machine and refrigerator. It is technically off the beaten path, but Caye Caulker is so tiny that it's worth it to pay less, especially if you only plan on sleeping there. Raul and his wife were kind and watched our bags for us the next day as we explored and before we headed to San Pedro.

Totally Bad Experience. Be Prepared for the Worst. Raul’s Rooms are in the worst conditions than on posted photos. Completely bleached out paint, mess on premise, full garbage bags on lower patio. Manager, the lady, was surprised to see me. The room was not cleaned, but I was offered to stay in it. Full payment in cash was required upfront. As I questioned such practices, I was thrown to the street.

Raul's was a great find! It's very comfortable. Much more comfortable beds than you usually find, great location and staff. Plus it includes a private bathroom, tv and fridge! Can't get any better.

Accomodation is in a nice quite area and not far from the action.... Also important to note, there is no interet or wifi on the property and does not exist, contradictory to the advert attached. There is an internet cafe downstairs but you have to pay and has nothing to do with the accomodation. Need to be honest on adverts,,,,
