This place was very good, clean and the bathrooms were wonderful. The directions are very hard to follow, there are actually two parks of Roman ruins, the hostel is in between a giant Roman arch on the left, and a small park with the remains of a wall on the right. Ps-the bus stops in the directions are in English, but the bus stops signs on the street are in Greek, so keep your eyes open for the huge arch, and watch the screens on the bus for the stop in English.

It's a very nice hostel- more like a hotel! I think I'm a bad judge to the atmosphere since we didn't really spend much time at the hostel. However there wasn't any good area for hanging out with other guests, only the garden patch (which was wonderful), but this didn't suffice for me at least.

This hostel was like a hotel. It was so nice! We had a private room with our own bathroom and they provide both clean towels, sheets, blanket, and shampoo and soap. It is near Tsimiski Street, which has a ton of shops. There is free breakfast (I recommend getting the ham and cheese and toast. Don't get the sausage) and free wi-fi. It is a great place to stay is is relatively cheap!

Rent Rooms is just the perfect place to stay in Thessaloniki. Its well located, the bus and the taxi stations are within walking distance. The breakfast is served in good portions and there are four choices. Most importantly, the staff there is extremely well informed and helpful as well. They were our perfect guides for the place. In essence, its a place which met all our needs and I would recommend it to any of my friends traveling to Thessaloniki.

My two friends and I enjoyed RentRooms very much and had a great experience. We were so grateful that it was so affordable and clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and so were the townspeople. We enjoyed our overall experience of Greece and want to come back! We will definitely recommend RentRooms to our fellow friends and classmates.

Nicest hostel I'd ever stayed at. More like a hotel than a hostel. We got free towels and toiletries in addition to a private bathroom. The room and bathroom were both very clean and in good condition. Free wifi. Very small and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants, giving directions, and assisting with transportation. Didn't get to try the free breakfast because I had to leave so early, but there were multiple options to choose from. Cool sites right outside.

As others have said, almost more like staying in a hotel than a hostel. Stayed in a 6-bed dorm and we had 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 washbasins all to ourselves. They were very clean and towels were provided. Beds were comfortable, room was warm (winter). The breakfast is great considering it's included. There's a really nice common/cafe area that's good to hang out in. Location is great as well, right next to the Rotunda.
