This was a great location with a view of the Rotunda and near the famous pedestrian street. It was not fancy but at $62 was a reasonable value. The nearby restaurants were somewhat noisy at night, and we were woken in the morning by a bush trimmer, but that's not Rent Rooms' fault. The room was clean and adequate but towel racks would be useful. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The bed was comfortable but the inflexible duvet bed covering was uncomfortably hot (no separate sheet)..

I was very pleased with this hostel. I was able to find it fairly easily although I would advise people to look for the bus stop called HANTH because YMCA is not what is shown. The staff is very friendly and helpful and all speak English. Breakfast is made for you every morning and you just pick which of the four options you want. Free coffee or tea. I didn't feel like there was a good room to meet new people. though. No big tv room or anything to just hang out and talk to other visitors.

My first night was really good, I arrived late, I was well taken care of by the staff. I came back a week later and it was weird. They opened a new dorm for me as there wasn't any room left elsewhere. So I had a dorm for myself. I went for dinner and came back late, the woman at the desk told me that the boss(a man) would be staying in my dorm. I really didn't sleep well as I didn't know the man, and didn't know when he would arrive during night. He didn't bother me but I was very anxious !

Great: location near bus stops and easy walking to interesting places; wi-fi works even on 2nd floor; ensuite bathroom had multiple toilets/showers/sinks - no waiting; 4 breakfast choices. Staff carried my big bag upstairs for me; a card was left in room so it would be possible to charge something while not in room. Wishes: ; in-room lockers would be nice; not much room in rooms (similar to Spanish hostels); garden cafe would probably be more fun later in year with more international travelers.

The hostel was pretty basic. It had a nice breakfast and pleasant staff, but the room was cold, and when running the AC it would suck all the smoke out the bar area up into our room - very unpleasant!
