The hostel was untidy and the kitchen needed cleaning - including dishes, pots and pans and shelves to put food items. The kitchen was locked at night and was not open to prepare breakfast even at 08:00 when I left to catch a flight.
We were the 5 people, just after the night in the car and before the night on the beach...so we just wanted to rest. We booked beds in 10 ppl dorm, and we got 5 ppl dorm just for us, without paying additionally, we appreciate that. The bathroom was in the room, but there was enough hot water just for one person, so we were using a common one..and we had the problem with the door lock, the key didn't want to get out, we were informed that was not the 1st time. Nevertheless, for 7 euro - great!
Receptionist wasn't aware of our booking so consequently didnt get standard of rooms we had booked. He told us there was a bar in the communal area so we had the embarrassment of asking a young woman there ( who happened to be standing behind the counter) for drinks when she explained to us that she was a guest. Receptionist couldn't really help with directions to train station but said there would be someone at reception to help, there wasn't. Beds smelled very stale. Unpleasant stay.
Great atmosphere, staff was nice and helpful!

This place was just plain dirty. The sheets had blood and fluid stains on them. We couldn't even find the room as all the lights in our corridor were broken. Staff rude and unhelpful. Plus had to bus into town.
It was ok for one night, but the 10 bed room was very small, everything was clean. In the common area there was music and a lot of talk, but not the kind of people i liked to socialise with. the besch nearby was not that clean, as the port is just a few hundred metres away.
The bathroom was in a mess and there was no hot water. I booked a single room but it also had 2 bunk beds in it, so I was constantly expecting 2 more people to arrive. I had an early train to catch so went to bed by midnight. There was a lot of noise going on into the night, people shouting etc the sound carries throughout the building. I had to leave the hostel at 7am the common room was locked, consequently I had no where to leave the key and also could not get at the provisions I had put in
Very basic room, but this is all I wanted. About a 15-20 minute walk from the bus/train station. Room was very hot, but it is mid summer. Decent for the price
The stay at this hostel was ok. There were some disappointing points like it was a bit far from the center, the bathroom was often dirty, mending not even of cheap things was done, no lock for locker offered, water heat was not adjustable, the lively atmosphere the staff created at living room during night time was to hear in bedrooms too, not all the staff was friendly, check-in not possible at agreed time. On the other hand it was cheap and familial, WLAN kitchen and information available.
We booked a private room with bathroom. The latter was clean but no towels, and we found hair on the bed sheets . The door handle was broken, and the people in the hostel were very noisy. On top of that, the sink in the kitchen was blocked, and the oven was awfully dirty. We did not dare cooking in the kitchen.. There is WIFI downstairs. The hostel is far from the city center but close to the beach. If you are on a budget and not very picky regarding cleanliness, this is the place to go.
Having backpacked for 5 months across several continents, this was the filthiest, grungiest hostel we stayed at. The atmosphere was the absolute worst part. There were often numerous guests sprawled out on the couch sleeping all day, and the only table in the common area was always covered in food bits and drink remains from the previous night. The rooms were ok, but some lockers and light fixtures were broken. The common area was very dark and felt like a cave. You get what you pay for.
If you are traveling alone and looking to meet people, THIS is the hostel for you. The kitchen is big and great for people to cook and talk. You will make lifelong friends here and not want to leave. It isn't very close to downtown but the bus to take you there is right outside. Also the beach is a very short walk. The facilities are exactly what you should have when you pay 8 euros but the atmosphere and friendship is priceless. :)
The staff were really friendly and I felt relaxed and at home straight away. The atmosphere was welcoming and very social and I made friends instantly. It's a place that you look forward to coming back to at the end of a long day of touristic activities because you know there will always be people to chill and wind down with in the common area, or you'll be invited along on a night venture by others. The bathroom gets cleaned really well too!

The staff and the vibe of this hostel were amazing. The location was good, since it is walking distance to recinto ferial during the festival, as well as to a nice beach. However, there was NO airconditioning and it was ridiculously hot. You had to sleep with the windows open but, since it is so close to the beach, there were very vicious mosquitos.
I thought this hostel was pretty good for what it was. I loved the couches and the use of the kitchen, and it was pretty clean all things considered. The only downside was that it was pretty far from the center of town, unless you take the bus, which can be annoying at times. Still, I liked the area that it was in so it wasn't too much of a problem.
Really didn't like this hostel. Not in a very good location- it's five minutes walk to a small beach but 25 minutes to the main part of town and the bigger beach. The dorms get very hot, and someone got their phone stolen from right under their nose in the common room. It wasn't very atmospheric either- but I guess you get what you pay for as it was very cjeap
This was by far the worst hostel I have ever visited. The staff was hard to identify and spent most of the time partying in the game room. The private room was so dirty and hot. Then when we moved to the 10 person bunk it was unsecured for belongings and a hostel environment with aggressive weirdos. This is not a joke I would never waste my time with such a negative comment but this hostel was truly the worst. I would have rather stayed in a tent on the beach.

It needs to be made clear to guests that you have to ask at reception to have the air conditioning turned on. Also the lockers in the female dorm need repairing. But overall it was a good basic, no frills, place to stay.
