This place was the worst stay away!! The staff were so rude I stood there for ten minutes waiting for her to help me check in and she was just chatting to her husband. They have dogs everywhere and as a consequence I got bitten by fleas. (they were def fleas) I slept on a top bunk which made me feel really unsafe as it was so small and they had plastic covering on the mattresses that made it slippery. I was actually afraid that I was gonna roll of the top bunk in the night cause it was so small

I could write an essay on this place & I would title it 'How not to run a hostel'. Before you book, please consider why it only achieves a lowly 66% with the HostelWorld (as should the owners). Place is a dump, with Mr Owner being about the most disinterested and rude Hostel owner I have ever met. Shabby rooms, dangerous showers ( bare wires IN the shower cubicle) & dogs everywhere. Only two redeeming features: the breakfast is decent and Mrs Owner is actually helpful and friendly.

VERY unwelcoming member of staff who dealt with us. Unaware of who was in our beds - which we booked online. Not understanding of a travel budget. Dog hair everywhere. No security. Not a good vibe.

We were greeted by an extremely rude and disinterested guy on the reception. As we'd been on an overnight bus we asked about taking a shower or having some food, both requests were just grunted at, but we were told we could leave our bags and come back after 1pm to check in. When we did, we wished we hadn't, extremely filthy, smelly and not at all secure (I was in a mixed dorm and the bathroom door didn't even shut never mind lock). Awful place - AVOID!

As i allready read in other comments, Residencial uno is no Palace. But for the price its alot more than i expected! The pool was really nice and the room ok. I only missed more sockets!.. But for 2-3 days really ok! ;)

We enjoyed our stay at Recidencial Uno a lot. The staff was very sympathic and helpful for every question we had, the prices were fair, the location is close to the main streets of Puerto Iguazu. The only

We did not enjoy our stay at Residencial Uno very much. The hostel does advertise that they have dogs living there (we love dogs, no problem) but the 4 dogs smell as if they´ve not had a bath in ages. The entire place smells of wet dog. Not very pleasant. In the common area there is only 1 couch & 1 chair to sit on for all the guests, however they were always inhabitied by the dogs, & not cleaned afterwards. The owners were friendly enough but usually seemed pretty grumpy & uninterested.

The kitchen is kind of funky, but otherwise this hostel is fantastic! The staff is really nice, very helpful, and can answer just about every question about the area.

The hostel is very simple, the value for the money you spend is balanced, but the facilities are really poor. The swimming pool is very nice but they should put more lining chairs and clean the water more often. I didn't like the presence of the dogs very good, moreover they should write in the hostel's descriptions that there are dogs! Breakfast too simple.

Residencial Uno is a great place to stay in Iguazu. We spend there 2 nights, the dormitory was cleaned every day, with 2 bathrooms inside the room (6 people on the room). Staff is very nice and helpful, swimming pool and patio are nice as well.
