We only stayed at this hostel one night. We received a lovely welcome and told we were staying on the terrace. The terrace room looked NOTHING like the pictures on hostelworld (I think they are of the suites) and was quite basic but comfortable and nice. Unfortunately we were robbed that night (the lock on our door didn't actually work that well, you are supposed to deadlock the door, which we weren't aware of), and found ourselves locked out of the hostel, which was terrifying at 3am.

Rooms were basic but clean. Staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was a great start to the day. Would definitely recommend.
This riad was very nice, the only downfall was that it was quite noisy as our window was above a little street being the rammadan time probably made it worse. the other rooms to the other side are very quite though. the riad was also not very personal as there were quite a few rooms, also hard to dry washing:
Thank you very much for the nice time,we spend in your Riad. Greetings Helga and Wolfgang

Loved this riad especially cause the room is big, as well as the bathroom , it has a lovely atmosphere and easy to find, once you go there once. Nice basic breakfast in the morning and will miss the cat that visited us every morning in the roof terrace upstairs! hot water, clean and lovely décor. def would go again!!
It is beautiful, clean, and has a great breakfast. The staff aren't very personable or helpful.
Was really nice stay!! The room was really beautiful(dryed roses on bed:D) and the breakfast was excellent.(You can eat breakfast in living room or terrace.) The staff was so kind and everywhere in this Riad were clean!! There are only 2 Cons: 1. WIFi is accessable only in the livingroom. 2.It's direction to get there is not enough! ANYWAY IT WAS REALLY NICE STAY AND I WILL REVISIT THERE IF I GO ESSAUIREA AGAIN.
Great place to meet other travelers and to escape the Medina's chaos. They have security boxes and iPhone-charging speakers in each room. Some roaches and overpriced food.
This is a beautiful riad in a perfect location in the medina. There are signs on the streets, so it's very easy to find from the Marrakech entrance of the medina. Our room was gorgeous and cleaned every day. We enjoyed breakfast on the roof each morning and easy walking distance from the beach. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!
A lovely Riad with gorgeous, well-presented rooms and a number of communal spaces to watch TV or chill out (including a nice rooftop terrace). The breakfast is amazing - a pancake, crossaint and lots of bread with tea/coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. A perfect start to the day! This is a great place for travellers who want some much needed R&R time and peace & quiet after the insanity of Marrakech.
It was a really nice stay in this beautiful Riad. We absolutely loved the decoration and the atmosphere, the staff was really nice and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! It's a bit hard to find, specially because the street is not in the regular maps, but any local can take you there!
Good Riad with friendly staff who are very helpful. Nice clean rooms with plenty of space and furniture. The breakfast is lovely and come on a gorgeous roof terrace. Beautiful.
This is super value for money. A real pearl, if you look for the real nice, cosy and very friendly riad not far from the beach. We will come back, be sure. Jan and Vibeke.

We only soent one night at this lovely riad but was well worht a visit. We had breakfast on the roof terrace which provides stunning views over Essouiara. The room was clean and perfect size for two people. It was within easy walking distance of the main square and the beach. Also only a 5min walk from the supra tours bus stop. Would definitiley recommend this riad to anyone visiting the area.
I really enjoyed my stay here, my only remarks is signs in the street. There is one at the main street just past the gate, which is good. But from Rue Agadir, it's a bit hard to spot. Maybe you can put the sign of the other riad at the end of the street in the route descriptions.
Nice and comfortable hostel. Nice roof terrace with a good breakfast. Desperately needs directions! You can get rough directions from the tourist office, but we stumbled upon it randomly after almost turning back.
We had a very nice stay at Etoile du Mogador. The staff were helpful, the room was clean, and breakfast on the terrace was a nice treat. It's a little outside the main part of the medina, but only a couple minute walk away because the medina is so small. It's extremely close to the Supratours bus station if you happen to take them. We came in on CTM, which is on the complete opposite side of the medina.
Loved my stay here. I was in the room on the roof, and eating breakfast on my own private balcony overlooking the Atlantic was a real highlight from my trip. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only problem for me was the wifi didn't work on the roof, but that's a very small complaint. Wonderful value for the money in Essaouira - I would absolutely stay here again!
