Very nice HOTEL, not a hostel. Clean and big room with own bathroom, nice swimming pool, good breakfast (you can tell them which kind of egg you prefer). But the hotel is not located in the city center. You really need to have a car to get around. Not a party area over there.

The welcome from John made us feel like we were visiting friends. A lovingly restored house, spacious and clean. Super breakfast, and my eggs scrambled to perfection by Svetlana. Carlos has a great knowledge of places to go. We tried all the local restaurants and had some excellent meals. We had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend Rio Arade to any friends going to Portugal. If we are heading that way again we will definitely stay there.

A nice hostel, varied breakfast, and with a beautiful living room and pool. Its location implies the use of transport to go to the center of Portimão. There are no planned activities, however, is an excellent destination for a retreat weekend.

This is the most charming little place you will find in the area of Portimao. We really enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was excellent! Highly recommended!
