It's not a hostel so no staff but the owner of the apartment is very nice and helpful. It is an apartment 2 minutes walk from copacabana beach and surrounded by local bars and restaurants. It's pretty expensive but well worth the money as you get your own kitchen and bathroom. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Rio.
Amazing apartment, very clean and comfortable. It's a residential building, so you feel like you could live there. The only one thing that I missed was the coffee filter, so I bought. The kitchen has microwave, plates, cups and a big fridge.
I loved this place! I've definitely told all of my Brazilian friends about this hostel since it was so incredibly cheap and amazingly located (which are two things that do not go together when staying in Rio). The fully stocked kitchen made it even more possible to make Rio affordable by cutting down on eating out for every single meal (but hell, you're on vacation so you gotta eat out sometimes). Thanks for the great stay!
