Guangzhou Riverside International Youth Hostel is by the riverside of Pearl River and is on the opposite side of the former foreign quarters which is well preserved as it was where you can find a strong colonial sentiment.
Along the riverside, there are pubs and bars, restaurants, cafè and cultural and art area transformed from old factories. Front end of the hostel is facing the river with a view of well-known White Swan Hotel in a distance, amid in line of trees which adds colour to scenery. This is a place where past and presence meet whereby tranquillity and activities interchange.
Youth Hostel offer dormitories, twins, single, riverside en-suite, family rooms etc. Cafè, internet, conference room, self-catering kitchen, laundry, left luggage and travel services are available.

Well, my first stop in mainland china! The Staff seems to be a little bit overstrained or underpaid, as you like it I wondered about the poor Englisch of the chinese employees in the hostel. But this more or less standard in China. Anyway make sure, that you don't question to much, because this is not really appreciated by them. In total I have to say, that these people lack the necessary service mentality. I don't recommend this place!
