This was a good hostel but we had some frustrations. Our bed was SUPER squeaky, kinda uncomfortable, and we had lots of flies in our room. The breakfast really needs to be improved because its basically bread and jam which was really disappointing. The staff was really helpful with recommendations and directions but sometimes we had trouble locating them. Overall decent stay.

We booked a 8 bed ensuite dorm, and were charged for one, but such a room didn't actually exist and we were put in a 12 bed without ensuite instead. There weren't enough bathrooms, just quickly using the toilet was always a challenge, and whilst the staff were friendly, they spent too long trying to push the tours they run, and ended up giving us incomplete or false information about how to do things on our own. Overall I wouldn't stay here again

My friend and I stayed for 4nights and we had a wonderful experience. Great and safe location - just a 10 min. walk to the main square, clean beds and bathrooms, outdoor patio, fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need to cook yourself a meal, a fruit and veggie stand right around the corner, large enough lockers to fit a traveling backpack, free wifi internet (strong connection upstairs), and a very helpful, honest, and cheerful staff. I will definitely be going back :)

Adorable dog and cat made my stay! The sisters were very friendly and helpful, even letting me hang around the hostel until my late evening train. Their "German grandpa" was also really cool; recommending hiking trails near Brašov. I only wish the kitchen had less strict opening times, as I couldn't access utensils or hot water (for tea) during their "breakfast time".

Very clean. Good breakfast with home made gem:) Great location in front of an old magnificent church. 10 min walk from Black Church. The walk gives you the opportunity to admire the buildings and little streets of old town. Very friendly and understanding staff. Silvia (the manager) has all the info you need regarding the city. She allowed us to store luggage and check-out late as we participated in a marathon and really needed to take a shower and change before hitting the road. Felt like home!

Great value hostel, stayed in the 12-beds-dorm, lockers available. Bathroom and kitchen were clean, Diana from the hostel was really friendly. Walls are rather thin, so you can hear a lot what's going on next door, but people were quiet after 10 pm. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to come back another time to this beautiful town. About breakfast, it's nice but easy, jam and bread, but the home-made jam is excellent.

Well, I`m still at Rolling Stone Hostel. I had an accident... fell on my back on an icy pavement, and have to be in bed for a whole month. The whole staff from the hostel has been a family to me... they went to the hospital, helped me communicate with doctors and nurses and were there for a long time... they have also been helping me with a bunch of other stuff on a daily basis. I have to be concise here due to space constraints, but would like to express my deep gratitude.

This place is a great opportunity in Brasov. Close to center, Cheap, and relatively clean, as well as a staff that will take care of you.

My stay at the hostel was nice, but I did feel a bit ripped off by the day trips after finding out I could have gotten to Bran a lot more cheaply elsewhere. My visit to Bran was also too rushed for the price I paid.
