Very nice place, a little pricey for us but we booked late and did not have many options. The location is great and the room was very nice. I would recommend this to others willing to pay a little more.

The room we had was No 303. The bedroom area was good but the bathroom needs updating. The sink taps both dripped constantly and on some occasions we weren't actually able to turn on the right had one as it was very stiff.

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback. I'm delighted to advise that the bathroom in Room 303 has now been replaced with a modern new suite. We look forward to welcoming you back to Roscoe House again in the future.

Room was huge! There was enough space to sleep 8 people on the floor if you had to cover the place in sleeping bags! Really cosy and well kept. Decor was simple but nice. It's an old building converted so it has quite some character. Bathroom was tight, but adequate and spotless. B'fast is a bit poor. Everything is cold as they don't seem to have cooking facilities. Fills a need anyway. Location is excellent, staff friendly and accommodating.

The staff were very friendly and we were greeted by a very nice lady who informed us of the cheaper parking at the cathedral. Also was able to provide information about places to eat and local attractions.

Excellent value for money. The location was perfect for seeing the attractions of Liverpool but far enough away from the hustle and bustle so that you could relax. We had a great room which was clean and warm, perfect.

this place was amazing!! for the price you pay we got a 4 star hotel. for the two of us we got a queen size bed each in a massive room with full kitchen, bathroom , tv, dining table and couch. so much better than the embassie we stayed at a few nights before and only £4 more a night, totally worth it. also great wifi!! your stupid to stay anywhere else if u want privacy and luxury.

This place was wonderful! Such great valcue for your money, I couldn't of asked for more! My room was huge! The bathroom was equally as large, with a great shower. T.V. was great. Bed was super comfy, lots of pillows. The location was great. I coud walk to most everything I wanted to see. It had a lot of bars close by as well. I only stayed for a weekend, but I would of loved to stay longer. Great place!

I booked two rooms. the first room was excelent but the second one was very small. When you will booked yor room, make sure that your room won't be in the basement.

The room was HUGE beyond our expectations. Everything was lovely, 2 big and comfy double beds, a gigantic flat screen TV and a big dining table. Room and kitchen were well equipped, with an oven, cutlery, fridge, pots, make-up mirrors, hair dryer - you practically need to bring nothing for the trip. The only comment would be "designer toiletry" claimed in the hotel introduction was definitely an overstatement. They were unable to provide us with a vanity kit and facial tissues.
