Had a really wonderful stay at Rossco. The location is so convenient to access the best parts of downtown. The staff were incredibly helpful, with directions, advice and really helped us with obtaining a rental car. I recommend the hostel to all those traveling through SCdlC. Thanks.

Really a lovely place to stay...very pretty, clean, awesome common spaces, regular bonfires, and even two pet dogs! And furthermore, it's right next to the center of town in one of my favorite cities in the world. I paid about 10 US Dollars a night...pretty hard to beat!

I extended my stay to 4 nights(as 4th is free!). Stayed in 14 bed mixed dorm which I didnt realise was more expensive than smaller girls' dorm!? Beds were comfy, lots of blankets for cold San Cristobal nights. Hostel was v busy the first night (Sat) but got really quiet towards end of my stay so not great atmosphere. I lost my hat & someone handed it into reception but it 'disappeared' which I found quite odd! Would be good to have heated indoor space for wifi as its freezing at night!

Nice hostel, quiet so if your looking for a party hostel go else where. Had a nice camp fire, warm comfy blankets/ beds, cute little movie room in an attic and two friendly dogs... All round a good hostel and would go back... Oh and hot showers!!

Our favourite hostel in our travels throughout Mexico! A very well organised and clean hostel with a great atmosphere! Breakfast had good options, good wifi plus a computer. Great movie room and fire at night. Most comfortable beds we've had with lovely thick blankets. Excellent value for money

Stayed in the 8-bed female dorm and the room was very clean. Lovely atmosphere; bonfire is a nice touch. Breakfast was good and I like the lounge area because there's an option to get movies from the front desk. However, bathroom facilities were a bit lacking. Clean, but, as far as I know, there were two bathrooms for all the dorm rooms, and only one had a sink, and that sink had no hot water.

Very nice calm place really in the center of the town. Very nice atmosphere with the guests gathering around the bonfire every night. Easy to make new friends.

we were both sick while staying here. And our neighbours were too. We could hear them theough the paper-thin walls of our private room. the room was lovely but the noise and brightn made it difficult to sleep past 6am. Water refills available, good DIY breakfast, friendhelpful staff and friendly atmosphere - good place to meet other people. A lot of people were sick there though, maybe a bug? Hopefully not hygiene related as the rooms were cleaned every day.

I loved this hostel! We extended our stay here 4 more nights. Met some of the most incredible people and it was really sad saying goodbye. Clean facilities, comfortable beds, fire every night. Overall just great. Only a bit more expensive than other places.

Great hostel! Very lively social atmosphere. Free breakfast (toast, bananas, yogurt, corn flakes, coffee, tea, jam, butter). Free wifi. Free hot water 24/hours. Bonfire every night! My only gripe was there wasn’t a real warm place to chill – the doors tended to be open to kitchen, living room, so you got a little cold. Internet didn’t work from inside anywhere though so you had to be in one of the open areas. Friendly staff, lots of info on tours, etc.
