The breakfast was excellent. They picked us up from the station and have a shuttle that was invaluable. Lovely people and a great Onsen.

Although a little way out of town, the owner is more than happy to drive you to and from the station as well as old town. Like another reviewer said, the ryokan itself is nothing too special but the owner and other staff who run it are amazing. We arrived later than planned but he was still happy to come and pick us up and although they had a large group in for dinner on one of the nights of our stay, they managed to sort us with dinner at short notice also. A cheap, friendly ryokan experience.
