Nice and helpful staff and very good shower facilities. The rooms are very small though, but with friendly roommates , that shouldn't be a problem and wasn't in our case.

I have stayed here now on two occasions and enjoyed myself both times. I think that you would be good to extend wifi to all rooms, not just the lobby.

A few hundred yen more expensive than similar hostels. Why is that when they charge you for using the lobby computers, towels and prison breakfast? From my dorm (where the wifi only reached when standing against the wall) the sound of music and chattering from the lobby leaked into the room. Even though clean and safe, I recommend you not to stay here unless you have to.

Pros: Good location in Ikebukuro, though you should print a map since the written instruction from the mail are unclear. The annex has a really nice café with a French feeling - same chair, same table - and it offers different ethnic food every night. Cons: if you're in the annex, you can only receive Wifi in the lobby. If you're looking for a room to just sleep in or if you're looking for interaction, this is waaayyy too expansive.

Conveniently located (once you find it). Directions should be more specific as it's around the corner from the way it's described. Super nice staff and very clean. My only complaint is the mattresses are too hard for me. So, I wouldn't stay there again, but I would recommend the hostel to others.

Very good location, very basic hostel. If you need a place to stay in Ikebukuro for the weekend I'd recommend it but if you want a place with character and a longer stay there are better options in other parts of the city. It was decent for the one night we stayed there.
