I really like the Sam So Guesthouse the staff was extremly helpful in booking our bus to go back to Phnom Penh! The room was really spacious and clean! Furthermore, to breakfast outside in the fresh air was amazing to! Another good point is that it is a small side street so no noises from the big streets =)

The staff are really nice and helpful, although the level English is very poor. My room wasn't cleaned even once within 3 days i stayed there, even though I specifically asked for it. You can get much better options for the same money

Staff are lovely and can help arranging all sorts of tours and trips around the city. Good location, tucked down an alley so it's quiet at night. Rooms are good sized, fridge didn't work and floor could have done with a vacuum but all else was good.

Really nice staff, but not a place to actually meet other people. Good for couples.

Staff very helpful. Have us some great tips on visiting the temples and sorted stuff out. We we're put in a downstairs room which.smelt.dank and musty.(and I'm normally not fussy) but they were nice about it and moved us upstairs no peons Think there are better places for this price though

Everything there is good. You shouldn't be dissapointed. Location is good (5- 10 minutes walk to the Old Market)

Staff were really friendly and helpful and booked us tours, boats etc. Only thing was when I did laundry all the clothes had tag labels stuck into the material to stop things getting mixed up and some of my things got holes in. Would be much more helpful if the washing/information labels sewn into the clothes had been used to put the tag labels in, so the clothes didn't get holes in. :)

It's true, the staff here are very friendly, honest , helpful and reliable. They helped us out greatly when my traveling companion fell ill (they even visited us when we were in the hospital) a few of the other guests also commented that the staff were great. Any tuk-tuk drivers they organized cost the same as picking them up in town. It's budget accommodation with a friendly smile. (you should stay here, it was great)

It was kind of fine but didn't blow me away. I am a VSO volunteer living in Phnom Penh for two years so have experience of cheap guest houses and this was one was just kind of fine. Nothing wrong with it at all, just nothing to write home about really. Although there was a fridge and the shower was excellent.

Very friendly staff indeed, apart from that everything was pretty much as expected. Located about five minutes from town centre, rooms are basic and clean.

This is a lovely guesthouse in a quiet location but still within walking distance of the main tourist area. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and it was very clean. I would say that if you are particularly prone to feel the heat it is well worth paying the little extra for a room with air con rather than just a fan.

very friendly, helpful and courteous staff. they helped us organize our day trips, arrange a tuk-tuk and give us directions through the city. they also spoke english very well. the hostel was clean, with great air-con and wifi. the shower, although clean, had a clogged floor drain. the hostel is at a great location: approx. 30 min to angkor wat (by tuk-tuk) and walking distance (10 min) to the touristy old city. the breakfast is also quick and good. thank you for a great stay.
