We had a room for 3 people with private bathroom on th 4th floor and everything was perfect. The small balcony offered a nice view to the Piazza San Geremia with the church. I definitely would recommend this hostel!

Our little room was adorable! My only problem was with the bathroom/shower because it was tiny and the door didn't shut. But other than that it's a great location and value for price. Stay here!

We had a great 3 night stay at San Geremia Rooms. Originally we only booked for 2 but decided to add an extra night and it wasn't a problem to stay in the same room. It is located perfectly, a very short walk from the bus station (where you arrive from the airport) and the train station so ideal for backpackers. We had a private room and bathroom, which was very clean and towels provided. The aircon is quite weak but does the job even in the heat of August. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The staff was really friendly and nice and the location of the hotel was good. But I have to say, that the hotel wasn't really what we expected. The hotel rooms don't look like the one on the pictures here on hostelworld at all. But this could be a mistake, because on the website of the hotel (www.hotelsangeremia.com) are pictures of the real rooms, and none of this looks like the one on the pictures here. Unfortunately, the room wasn't really clean when we arrived, especially the bathroom.

We booked a Premier room and were delighted with the view from our room and the fact that we had a little table and chairs to sit and take in the view. We also thought the bathroom was of very high standard. The rest of the room was fairly basic. We thought it could very easily have been improved and made more homely by a few simple pictures being put up on the walls. The location of the hotel, and its sister hotel next door is excellent though. It was a shame that breakfast was not included.

We travelled as a family and booked two rooms San Geremia is conveniently based near the train station and a 20 minute walk from St Marks. All the staff were helpful and we were allowed to leave our bags before the check in time. There was a view over the square from the rooms. The rooms were good value for money considering location and that Venice can be very expensive. Breakfast next to San Geremia was discounted, it offered a limited choice but was good value.

When we left, my friend forgot her necklace in the room and she realised when we left. We called them and, apparently, noone saw the necklace ever again! We know it was there but they kept it. It was an important present for her and that was horrible. And there was no lift, so we had to carry our suitcases to the 3rd floor! Mi amiga se olvidó un collar de plata en la habitación cuando nos fuimos. Llamamos varias veces, pero nadie volvió a ver el collar ni nos ofrecieron ninguna solución.

Good location, quiet and clean, but the rest sucks. They had air conditioning and wifi, but they didn't work properly. The old air conditioning device made a sound, but didn't blow any cool air into the room. And anyone who's been to Venice in July knows what a nightmare it is to try to sleep in hot and humid air. It's nearly impossible. Also wifi was very poor. It SORT OF worked for the first 24 h, but then we couldn't have access anymore. I will definitely NOT go here again.

More facilities such as a TV room for guests, since there is not any in the rooms.

Luggage storage room doesn't have a door or lock, but the staff did at least seem to be somewhat aware of who was coming in and out of the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and good for two people, but no more than two. A/C unit was in the room, but did NOTHING, which is awful for those traveling in the summer, as Venice is super hot. Overall, minus the lack of A/C, the room was good and the hotel is in a decent location.

Stayed here on a backpacking trip and this was one of the few places that we had our own room. The double bed room is very nice with a private bathroom.( ours was across the hall but we didn't mind at all) I room was a perfect size and close to the main train station on the island which was invaluable for being able to walk around as we pleased and not have to pay for more water taxi passes. The price was great compared to what the other options are. We were very happy with our stay!

You have to pay with cash so make sure you have enough cash on you for however long you stay. And the ATM's near by dont always work. I went to 3 before I could find a working ATM and we almost missed our train trying to find cash to pay for the hotel

Clean, adequate hotel in a very convenient location near train station.

Being forced to leave the key whenever you go out is not reassuring. To retrieve our key when we come back we simply tell the room number and are given the key. No verification of name or actual person reserving the room at the time. That made me uneasy, anyone can get the key to my room while I am not there.

Perfect for a quick stop in Venice.

Excellent location close to train station. Good security and cleanliness. Building is a bit old, but we had A/C which we were grateful for. Staff was helpful, but not overly friendly. Wifi works well and you get a coupon for 50% off breakfast at the bar next door.

We didn't have super high expectations for this hostel based on some reviews we had read, so overall this place was what we expected. It's a small hostel and was cheap, but we were only staying for two nights so it worked. The sheets and towels have a weird smell! My friends didn't think it was to bad, but I hated it. It made everything seem dirtier. However, the bathroom wasn't bad. We were not fans of the mustard yellow comforters, so if you get a room with those, don't be too alarmed ;)

Had a twin share. Great location, handy to the transport and eateries. Bathroom is cramped, but it is all there.

Small basic room. Was all clean. Only Iet down was the storage room. Anyone could all and access your things - any even walking in off the street would able find the insecure storage room.
