The hostel is very well located and easy to access if you arrive by train. It is just 5 min walking from Venezia Saint Lucia what makes it very convenient. We have booked a private double room, which was very small and claustrofobic. The bed was large and good and the showers were working fine (good hot water), however, as a hostel, we missed some comunal area for interaction or eating. Comparing to other options in Veneza, I think it was a good cost effective solution.

Only complaint was that our room 209 was very cold, I'm not sure if the heater is broken in that room

There could be a space for guests to hang out and luggage storage facilities could've been safer. Location and cleanliness are the high spots on this hotel.

Nice room. Bathroom was private but across the hall. You have to leave the key at reception every time you leave. Staff is super friendly and overall was a good experience!

Could the hostel consider installing a tv in each room?

It's a nice hotel near the station, nice location. But you have to ask the staff to get the kettle for hot water and the staff is not that passionate and nice. Overall is OK and I recommend.

It was not clean, and the room was too hot, and too old...

Very basic, definitely nothing fancy. However, due to the price and location I would recommend.

Stayed in a private room here, and it was very nice. The hotel is a 5 min. walk from the main train station and the staff was friendly. Our room was small but perfectly adequate, and we had a private shower outside of the room, which was very nice! There wasn't much of an atmosphere here if you are looking to meet other travelers, there is no central common room, but if that doesn't bother you, it is an excellent place to stay, would highly recommend.

Disaster!!!. The lady at the front desk was so unfriendly, the rooms looked nothing like the photos. Their was bugs squashed on the walls. Not that clean either. Wifi is bad. And the phrase 'you couldn't swing a cat in that room' is true. Don't stay here.

We stayed for two nights in a private room. Our room was located in a separate building than reception and we had to be buzzed in every time. Our window opened up to a lovely square, never too busy but the church bells In the morning are deafening, and so was the Acqua Alta alarm, gave me a heart attack. No breakfast but half off coffee and pastries at the bar next door. Shower was clean and hot! Staff weren't overly welcoming, didn't offer any maps or suggestions. Overall enjoyable!

We were 3 people staying at San Geremia's for 3 nights that were pleased by the accomodation. Mattresses a bit hard are better than too soft, and the Friday night in the centre of town was of course having some party noise. The light in energy saving bulbs hanging from the ceiling and other cables being visible might be called art, but since clean was not disturbing. Clean room and clean and functional bathroom was exactly what we needed for the stay. CreditCard payment would help.

Great location by Santa Lucia station. We had a room with a beautiful view. 8 min walk to a nice craft beer bar. The Biennale is at the other end of Venice, so it's a bit of a walking trek. Google Maps says it's an hour walk, but that's only if you know your way! Even with a map, you'll be walking in the right direction, but then there won't be a bridge to cross & you have to find another way. Breakfast at the cafe next door was only so-so. Baggage room available, but had no door. Nice overall.

We had a room for 3 people with private bathroom on th 4th floor and everything was perfect. The small balcony offered a nice view to the Piazza San Geremia with the church. I definitely would recommend this hostel!

Our little room was adorable! My only problem was with the bathroom/shower because it was tiny and the door didn't shut. But other than that it's a great location and value for price. Stay here!

We had a great 3 night stay at San Geremia Rooms. Originally we only booked for 2 but decided to add an extra night and it wasn't a problem to stay in the same room. It is located perfectly, a very short walk from the bus station (where you arrive from the airport) and the train station so ideal for backpackers. We had a private room and bathroom, which was very clean and towels provided. The aircon is quite weak but does the job even in the heat of August. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
