We did not know what to expect when we booked on-line. It turned out to be a high point of our trip. The camp lodge was efficient, clean and well run yet totally relaxed and the staff had time to chat and answered all our questions about life in a moshav and about Israel generally. Our pre-ordered meals were delicious. We asked Gil, the owner, if we could see around the farm and he drove us around explaining how the moshav and the hi-tech systems worked. A real gem of a place to stay!

Excellent, very excellent! Better than big hostels in Massada or Ein Gedi. And Gili is very nice!

Shkedi's camplodge is a really fantastic place to hang out, to chill and for reading after dusty desert days. The atmosphere is absolutely mystical!

I planned to stay only one night but when I got to there it was like coming to a different world. Peaceful, quiet and wonderful people! I left only because it was the end of my holiday in Israel. Gil, the owner is an amazing guy who drove us around the desert in his jeep, told the most amazing stories and never stopped playing good music. He's very caring and attentive and if you ever thinking about going to the desert, Shkedi's Camplodge is the place to stay!

Schkedi's Camplodge is amazing! The staff are super friendly—Gil even shared his amazing homemade soup and chocolate cake with my friend & me! The ambiance is very relaxed, quirky, fun and beautiful. A huge, inviting fire pit is located in the center of the camplodge. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable. The shared kitchen is clean and well-equipped. The common space is fun, large and welcoming. The staff really create a communal vibe at this magical place. I highly recommmend it.
