Accommodation in Israel is great, but Shkedi goes much further in cleanliness, location and facilities, but most importantly kindness, aesthetics and their staff. Can't wait to go back.

5 of us stayed in Shkedi's camplodge as a stop point for climbing Massada and visiting the dead sea. We loved the lodge and the staff. We came pretty late in the evening and restaurants were closed, and two of the staff shared their dinner with us. We spent the night around the campfire and had great sleep in the spacious air conditioned dorms. Wished we could stay longer! Would recommend to anyone.

Nice and clean hostel, friendly staff

This place got some of the spirit that makes people over the world love Israel.

I don't give 100% reviews that often. With that said, Shkedi's camplodge was worth every cent. Staff was great, fun, made us feel at home. It says "camplodge" but beds were actually way more comfortable than many hostels. Similarly, bathrooms were clean and big. Close to markets, short drive to the dead sea and Masada, yet a peaceful place in the middle of desert. Met many nice people in a chill out atmosphere around a bonfire. Perfect combination of nature and comfort! And cute dogs and cats :)
