I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again. There was a problem with check in though and they had lost my reservation. They did book a new room at a different hostel and had it arranged but it definitely wasn't nice to be changing rooms every night. However, the staff is great and ready to help you with anything you need. They have their own tuk tuk drivers who can take you on any tours you want. Overall, great value for your money.

We really enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse/hostel and would recommend it to anyone. The only point is that it is on a dirt road and 7 min walk from Pub street. But the hostel is very friendly, people chatting in the evening downstairs, has trustworthy tuk tuk drivers who will transport you for very reasonably price to the temples or anywhere you want to go. We also enjoyed the museum. But it can get very hot and humid in Seam Reap, and we appreciate the airconditioner in the room.

The staff and manager, Brian, were awesome. So helpful, friendly, and just great to chat with. The previous king died while we were there, and we had to get bus tickets at the last minute to bypass PP. The staff tried until they got them! The only issue we had was with the tub draining, but this was more a city-wide issue than the hostel specifically. The tuk tuk drivers were super nice and reasonably priced. The room itself was huge and the beds were comfortable.Great location. Def worth a stay

I appreciate hostel staff's kindness. Though I couldn't make breakfast in the kitchen by myself, I could buy and eat a breakfast for cheaper price and better taste. Room was very clear. And there was a tuktuk reservation service. I think all service was economic and better.

The only thing missing that I can think is a locker inside the room to leave our valuable belongs. I think there was one in the reception, but just for small stuff.

The owner was very friendly. It was clean and close to pub street so we were able to walk to the bars. The owner set us up with a great tuk tuk driver to see Angkor Wat. We had the driver the entire day. There are restaurants near by. The towels were folded into cute little origami swans one day. I visited friends at another hostel and I preferred ours by far for location. I stayed at a lot of European hostels in college and this one was way nicer than anything I stayed in.

I loved the location. Out of the touristy thrall on a sleepy street but very close to it if you like. Nice and clean. Almost all of the staff was amazing. I did three days of tours with their tuk tuk driver, mr. Mourm and he was fantastic. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay they again if I make it back to siem reap.

The place was okay - especially for its value. But it wasn't what I had expected from reading other reviews and what they had offered. The place gave me an odd vibe and was oddly empty most times. The Cambodian staff at reception was very helpful though. They had refused to mail someone's postcard because they had previously received a bad review for another postcard mailing. I thought that was a little bit of a turnoff.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi, I do appreciate you comments regarding my villa. I am the new owner which actually took over on your arrival date, and to see that your stay was unsatisfactory to you is a shame, as we pride ourselves on the presentation of the guest house. I dont understand regarding the comments on the empty guest house as it has not had any available beds for the past 2 months and I have been still fully booked till today. I do thankyou for the comments for the staff as i like to praise them for their good work. Regarding the postcard unfortunately they have previously had issues with posting them and or the card being lost. From now I am taking care of all simular issues. Also we are a struggling small guest house that requires feedback and the more positive the better we grow and so does our reputation. I do appologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Nice place. Very basic but good value for money due to it being so cheap. Pretty good location for the money, but you could probably stay closer to town in a nicer place for a tiny bit more.

Nice hostel, very clean and the dorms had beds almost as wide as a double, with sheets and towels changed daily, which was almost overkill. Run by an Australian guy who was super friendly and talkative. The tours offered, as well as the food was obviously overpriced, but they had free pickup for arriving and leaving, as well as free computer usage.

Really nice place to relax and just chill for a few days. Much better than the rating I give suggests. No lockers, only the door to your dorm room (never locked anyway), 1 toilet for everyone in the 7 person room, nice staff but nothing overwhelming, and little to no atmosphere. But this place doesn't need it. Near pub street, clean, cheap, comfortable, and quite. Couldn't ask for more for a couple bucks a day. ZERO reason to complain. One of those places that is content being clean and average,

Really enjoyed our stay at the Siem Reap Holiday Garden. It was located about 5-10 minutes walk away from the Night Market and Pub Street, easily walkable and was very safe and quiet at night. Room was spacious and kept very clean. Some mild issues such as leaky air conditioner, but we put a towel on the floor. Owner Paul very friendly. The front desk guys Barak and Sala were great, always helpful and sweet. 4 AM take-away breakfast for sunrise at Angkor Wat is a good deal. Highly recommended!

Paul was very friendly and helpful. Free pick up from airport is also great. Hostel is situated in nice villa with great massive wood furniture.

SRHG is super cool! I had great time there. The hostel is a relatively quiet area of Siem Reap so it's good to relax and to avoid the busy and noisy market. It's very close to the popular Tuk Tuk Bar. Paul is very interesting and always friendly! The staff is very polite and helpful! My bed was a little bit uncomfortable, maybe the mattress was old...

A nice place with a great guy on reception, down a dusty road right near the 'tourist' part of Siem Reap. Was great having free pick up and they were very useful and helpful with organising a tuk-tuk driver to be at your service, the only gripe we had was that their helpfulness borders on pushyness sometimes, asking you repeatedly when you'll want to take a tour using your tuktuk. Otherwise, great place, lovely people, lovely town!
