Hostel was nice (although nothing to rave about). However location, well it was close to the night market was not close enough and requires one to go down a dark alley at night. It was also hard to find by tuk-tuks (no one has heard of the place!) and the hostel didn't do a good job of providing a namecard with directions to their hard to find place. I had problems with pickups for two tours because of this. Service ok but not much extras and charged $1 to mail some pre-stamped postcards :(

This is a great hostel for people looking for a chill and relaxed atmosphere. However, it was not very social, so it will not be the place for you if you want a party every night. But if you are okay with doing your own thing, I would highly recommend it.

The dorm room had no lockers or anything to store valuables, which wasn't great. However the staff were extremely helpful with everything, and the owner was great to chat to. The tuk-tuk drivers that the hotel have are fantastic and great for tours of the temples, but quite expensive compared to those you can get from a street corner to do the same.

It is what you want in a hostel. Clean rooms, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Most importantly, an $8,000 camera was left behind by accident. The hostel made every effort to find us before we left the country. All turn out fine in the end. That alone will guarantee that we stay at the Holiday Garden nice time we are in town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the SRHG. Travelling as a family of five it is not easy to find a room that will accommodate us all. Our room at SRHG was absolutely huge and beautifully furnished. The villa itself is a short walk to the Night Market, Pub Street and many restaurants. We got laundry done for just $1.50 a kilo which was also great. However, the most memorable part of our stay was the hospitality, company and kindness of Paul & Elsie. Thank you so much for everything.

Very simply, Holiday Garden excellent, location excellent, Paul the owner superb. He couldn't have been more helpful in terms of where to eat locally, where to go for a 'lemonade' and what to do and see while staying in Siem. His tut tut guys are great and would highly recomend staying there for a brilliant experience of Siem Reap

Excellent place, really enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse is central and clean. The manager, Paul, is really nice and helpful, the breakfast is also very nice, especially the option for a takeout if you want to watch the sunrise. However, the greatest thing was the tours the hostel arranges to the templesa and the area and the wonderful tuk tuk drivers who accompany you the whole day. Highly recommended!

Great value for price. Dorm was pretty good, bathroom a bit odd but good hot water. No lockers but secure storage for your valuables. Paul the owner is a nice guy. Tuk-tuk driver they set us up with was a very nice guy and super honest and helpful. Overall the place has a nice ambiance. Breakfast was a little spendy but was tasty and filling. Only real complaint was that the bed was pretty uncomfortable for me as a bigger guy, but that's a consistent problem in Asia.

Hi Paul and staff, our stay at your Villa was great, one of the best on our trip through Asia. Your made it very convenient to have a short stay with lots of action packed into our 2 days. The girls and I loved the pool stop at the local hotel for the afternoon. Your pricing on local tours was reasonable and we great time. Thanks very much for all your effort. The girls and I were very pleased with our stay and will love to come back to stay again. Cheers Tim Jenkins

My friends and I had a great experience. Clean, safe hostel with helpful staff and gorgeous woodwork throughout the building. Just a five minute walk to the main part of town.

We stayed here for near a week, and were so sad to leave.. Paul & his staff made us feel right at home. They helped to organise day trips, & even recommend pubs and restaurants which were all of great value! Try their breakfast omelettes, they are excellent! We had a double room, which was perfectly clean (and made up every day). Very spacious, there was a fan as well as a/c, the bed was comfy & shower had good pressure. All in all, couldn't ask for more, we most certainly recommend this place!

Our stay in SR Holiday Garden was realy great! We were picked up at the bus station and had a lovely room. The owner Paul and his staff just know how to run a succesful hostel and very much realize what is important for the guests. They were very willing to advice us on visiting Angkor temples and provide reliable and high quality tuktuk-drivers. The hostel is very clean, there are great seats outside, and in walking distance of town. So: THE place to stay in SR, for sure.

This is a difficult one to write. Everything was ok about the hostel but a few things made it difficult not to score lower. 1- airco is only availble for a couple hours a night. 2, the door is always left unlocked in dorms. 3- and this is the worst of all- the company they use for their bus tickets. We booked a bus journey to Laos- it left us stranded in the middle of nowhere after taking us halfway down Cambodia and back and left us stuck and scared after travelling for 16 hours. No Laos!

The boy working in the hostel is very nice and helpful. On the first day there is something wrong with my air condition, they changed the room for me the next day, then everything is fine. After all, it is a clean and nice place to stay.
