Really great place to stay, comfortable and clean. Ace fried breakfast! Staff are super helpful and informative, a real help when considering what to do around the very large area of Angkor temples.

Easily the nicest place we have stayed in 4 months travelling Asia. Very clean, spacious rooms with tv, air con, wifi and a nice shower. Gorgeous breakfast at a reasonable price. Phil the owner, is very helpful and genuine and is happy to help with organising trips and giving general advice. Nice decking area on the roof with a small plung pool and tv area. We booked our Angkor Wat trip and onward bus journey at the hotel, both were very good and efficient. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Really helpful staff. They gave us a map and answered all our questions. Free pick up by tuk tuk from the airport was great - we kept that driver our entire time. Really short walk to the city, so out of the busyness of it all. Free wifi, great breakfast (best bacon we have ever tasted!). Great clean rooms, AC and bathrooms were fantastic. Rooftop small pool was great, wifi reached up there.

Lovely guest house within easy walking distance of central Siem Reap but far enough way for a good nights sleep! Fantastic spacious rooms that are outstanding value for money. The friendly owners gave us lots of good advice and organised us a really nice Tuk Tuk driver (Chamnan Yee) to take us around the temples. Would throughly recommend staying here and can only wish other places were this good. If you stay here check out the salads at the Peace Cafe down the road!

I cannot say enough about this hostel, Melissa was fantastic, gave us great advice and maps for Siem Reap and Angkor Wat and arranged a great guide and tuk tuk driver. They even picked us up from the airport for free and had iced tea waiting when we arrived. Great value for your money, extremely clean and well run! By far one of the best hostels I've been to.

My only concern was that there were no lockers or safes in each room. I didn't feel completely comfortable having to put my valuables (passport and other cash) in the communal safe.

Owner Comment (Show)
Thank you for staying at Siem Reap Rooms Guesthouse. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with us. It's unfortunate that you did not feel comfortable using our safe. We find this to be the most secure way of storing your valuables while you are visiting with us. The only people who have access to the safe are myself and my husband, no one else. We recommend to all of our guests to let us lock up their items in our safe, it is not communal as only Dave and I can access it. Thanks.

Melissa and David were great hosts :) Melissa told us everything we needed to know about Siem Reap -- where to go, where to find the BEST deals, recommended us the BEST Tuktuk driver, and really just took care of us during our stay. Certainly the best host in Siem Reap :)

Melissa and David are wonderful, helpful and friendly. I stayed at the guest house for 12 days and was very pleased with every aspect of the stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and all have AC that worked very well even with extremely high temps outside. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great. Melissa and David were always around to answer any questions I had or help me out in any way that they could. I definitely suggest this to be your home while in Siem Reap.

The best hostel I ever stayed in (and I\'ve been to many)! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The best place to stay in Siem Reap - quiet place with nice sitting place on the roof and yet just 5 minutes walk from the city center.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were really helpful and informative. The breakfast was pretty good. The free bike rental was an added bonus. The only downside was walking back at night because there isn't much lighting on the street but I still felt pretty safe.

If you're a lone traveller it might be a bit more difficult to meet other travellers since they're single/double rooms, but I think it's the trade off you need to make if you want a nicer hostel/hotel.

The hosts are very helpful and informative, all staff friendly and welcoming. A very comfortable place to stay, more welcoming than large hotels with busloads of tourists!

The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the old market. Melissa and Dave, the owners, are very hospitable and helpful. The rooms are super clean and well tended to. A highly reccommended place to stay while exploring the wonderful temples of Angkor.

This is a great place to stay. It is clean, the staff are great in helping you to plan outtings to the temples and surrounding areas, and the rooms are more like a hotel than a hostel. In a trip around the world this has been one of the best places we've stayed at (and one of the most inexpensive, too).
