The place is ok. It's located a ten minutes walk from city center. The staff speaks very little english, it's very difficult to organize tours with them.

Overall I liked it but being a women on my own it would have been better for me to be in the town itself as I had to get a tuc tuc home at night, more because walking on the dust and dirt of unfinished roads was difficult especially in the dark. Also a safe in the room would have been a big advantage as I had to carry everything with me all the time, you can give items in to be minded but its awkward then to have to keep asking for them.

One of the best hostel experiences you'll have. The staff are amazing, they will help you with everything and give you all the advice you need. Their service is really top notch. I'd expect less from a 5 star hotel. The hostel itself is set in a beautiful building with the lobby lined in wood. Rooms are clean and location is quiet but only a short walk to the main area. Highly recommended.

Good place to stay in siem reap, 10mins walk to central market/pub street or $2 for a tuk tuk. Guys on front desk were helpful and booked our trips to angkor wat and the floating village (would highly recommend). The tuk tuk drivers they use are fair priced and friendly. They do a nice breakfast here too, and they have a fridge with made-up baguettes which is handy for a quick lunch or to take on a trip. Only slight negative would be that our room didnt have any Windows and smelt a little damp

We had a good stay at Siem Reap Rooms and all the staff were lovely. Great breakfasts - good value for money. We were slightly disappointed as we had requested a mini-bus service to Phnom Penh on the first day we had arrived. When we went to confirm that this had been booked, it had not. This resulted in us having to take a $80 taxi to Phnom Penh instead at the last minute. However Phil did help to arrange a taxi in time.

We were well looked after and the staff were helpful in helping us arrange transport and with local area knowledge- giving us some good money saving tips. We were totally confident that our stuff was kept securely, too. The breakfast was hearty and excellent value for money and the location was ideal, away from the noise of the main street but just a 5 minute walk to town. The pool was a lot smaller than the photo suggested though.

I like the fact that in a city that always turns off electricity and water due to rationing, this Hostel has access to well-water and have generators as backup. My room was huge (too huge) but for the location and the cleanliness, I think overall I will recommend travellers stay here if you are in siem reap.

Fantastic guesthouse. Great location, brilliant and extremely helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Couldn't ask for a better base to explore Siem Reap.

Above and beyond the call of duty. I took a mini bus I booked from Pataya and after getting ripped off at the boarder by a different price than what was told to me and what is from anything online regarding visas and then ripped off more so by the mini bus tour company -- Joey's -- on Walking Street -- the driver tried to tell me he could not find this hotel and took me to another hotel. I emailed Phil and he sent his driver and took care of me, single white girl, from California

The hostel was great and the staff friendly and helpful.. A shame the roof pool was not clean... A dip at the end of a hot day exploring would have been fab!

Wonderful little hostel, a bit of a long dark walk at night from the old market. But walkable and easy to find, tuktuk it back at night. Terrific atmosphere. Phil is wonderful about recommending tours and setting up drivers and tours. I had a terrific 4 day tuk tuk tour with Jimmie and Boray (best tour guide ever!!). Boray helped archaeologists in the past so he has a lot of knowledge and respect for the ruins. Both have a terrific sense of humor!

On a quiet street just across from all the action - a chilled guesthouse. Phil and his staff were great (the best, most thorough check-in I've ever had) and helped us book our bus, when we missed the bus and then again when we couldn't find accommodation. The rooms are awesome, good WIFI and the shower pressure is the best we've had yet. The breakfast/mini fridge were handy too, especially for the early wakeups. The rooftop and pool are beautiful and a cheap place to start the night with a beer.

Phil has been nothing but fantastic in timely replies with emails, organising free-pick to hostel and extension of accommodation. The establishment is served by very friendly and helpful local folks, empowered to make decisions with their daily operations. A prime location tucked away from bustling old market; a great value for money for sure.

I will definitely come back. Staffs are very courteous and always willing to lend a hand. Sy (not really sure about the spelling), out tuktuk driver, is very good. we managed to see almost everything angkor wat has to offer because of him. The room is also nice except I wish that the aircon will be transferred near the toilet so that the room will have proper ventilation. The room where we stayed, the aircon is focused only to 1 bed but overall very happy with my stay with Siam Reap Rooms...

Recently spent 4 nights here and I must say it was lovely. Beautiful interior and the rooms are spacious and spotless. Free pickup, wifi, satellite tv and rooftop terrace/ mini pool make this place a gem. Only downside is it is a 3 to 5 minute walk down a dark alley so perhaps the guesthouse could provide transport into town which is very nearby. Other than that, great spot and would stay again.

An excellent stay and fantastic staff!! The guys were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and we really liked the roof top pool/tv area - a great spot to relax. The location is perfect - quiet and peaceful but a quick walk to great restaurants. Having stayed elsewhere in Siem Reap on previous trips we definitely preferred it here. Overall it was a top notch stay!

A pretty basic hostel. The tuk-tuk driver on staff was very helpful. Two computers for use in the main lobby, and a small bar/restaurant downstairs, though I didn't personally eat or drink anything there.
