After a long trip from Brussels, due to a train strike, we were received by a live concert featuring a cover from Johny Cash "the ring of fire", on a very cosy and fun environment. We really were happy to know that we were on a fun place with everything designed to please travellers. They send me to a room that was just over THEIR OWN bar, in which THEY put music unitl 4 am without letting me sleep. And they didn't even warn me anything. I was paying for a service: sleeping, and they didnt allow me to do so. Hi there We really enjoyed our weekend in bruges! The Hostel was better than we expected, especially because of the low price. The only bad thing was that we were unable to sleep because of the really loud music 'til about 4 in the morning, I guess it came from the bar below us. Great location - only a walk away from the centre of Bruges. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were quite unfriendly and unsmiling. Showers were frustrating - only last for about 10 seconds before you had to push a button to start them again! Great location - only a walk away from the centre of Bruges. Beautiful old buildings especially the bar and restaurant. Clean. Secure. I had a good experience here overall. I didn't really have issues with sharing the bathroom or noise with the bar like other reviewers. Not super close to the town center, but still walkable. Wifi did not work for my computer, but the computers there worked fine (for a euro each time).I had a good experience here overall. Dont be fooled by the St Christophers logo! Rooms were revolting, they hadnt made a clean bed for when I arrived, in fact didnt know which bed was clean to make up in the room. Young guy at reception attempted to make it for me. Room smelt of smoke and was filthy. I woke up with massive insect bites on my leg and arm. Breakfast fine. Location fine. Staff, could be a little more knowledgeable on the area and helpful. There would have to be other options in Brugge before this one.Dont be fooled by the St Christophers logo! Eerste dag geen warm water in de douche, De dag erna veel te warm water (kon je nauwelijks onder blijven staan). Verder was alles prima! No esta centrico. No esta limpisimo. Los baños son pocos, no funcionan muy bien y a penas te puedes mover. La relacion precio calidad no va unida, deja bastante que desear.
