The place is a little far from city centre but walkable, but definitely far from the train station esp. if you consider you will probably have some sort of bag or luggage to carry, thus making the bus necessary. The bar has an amazing atmosphere and prices are good. As for the rooms, they are very clean and everyone has a locker (no lock included), The bed is a bit hard and the pillows are horrible. Staff is friendly and speaks good English, as well as Flemish.

I loved everything about St. Christopher's except for the distance away from the train station, and the sleeping accomodations at night. The room that I slept in was extremely cold and the blanket they give was way to small. I had to pull out my jackets and towel to put on top of the small blanket and my feet sticking out of the end of it to actually be able to get some sleep.

Everything was nice and clean, except bike renting.. it totally messed up and the staff did not have any tools to fix bike problems...totally unconfortable and dangerous to ride the bikes that belong to the hostel ! Apart from this, the room was clean, with a lot of space and quiet. The place is located next to the wind mills and an ancient door.

Very clean hostel. Bathroom and shower just down the hall. Excellent location, only 10min walk to town centre. Special mention to Owen & Dave in the bar...legends! Matt in the kitchen for cooking up a storm & Esther at reception!! Will definitely come back!

First time I have stayed in a hostel and I would recommend it to any one. The room was clean as were the facilitys. The restaurant was good, as good as a lot of the local eateries. I was particularly impressed with the bar great atmosphere and stoked a surprising selection of Belgian beers.

The hostel itself and staff were great and it was in an amazing location but the bathrooms for the rooms in the old building (right next to the pub) are really gross. They smelt like a bad kitchen and left you smelling the same.

Fairly standard for a large hostel chain, nothing particularly good and nothing really bad. Common area and bar were not especially easy to meet people in.

A good clean hostel, not far from main attractions, well nothing is in this town really! Would recommend staying here!

It's near the center of bruges, maybe a 10 minute walk away. cant get much better. very nice pod dorms which ensures privacy and 1 euro beers for happy hour is great. the beds are incredibly hard though and computers are expensive to use if you don't have your own laptop. could use a kitchen for guests to use. but all in all its a good hostel with the usual st. christophers style

Only one problem, men's shower have no regulation hot/cold water, it's only a button. Hostel very organized, clean and with a fun bar. Very professional. There's no wifi in the rooms, only reception and bar.

when we opened our door we found 3 girls already in there but staff was helpful and sorted it out :). we stayed in an 8 dorm room, which was fairly small and cramped, only had 2 plug sockets, maybe we should of stayed in an 10 dorm room ensuite as that might have been more spacious. The best showers and toilets are on the first floor, breakfast was provided which was nice. Not a bad place to stay but not the best either.

The hostel was okay. The room i stayed in however smelt quite mouldy and damp all the time so it never felt clean. Nothing much is provided i.e. no towels, kitchen facilities etc. Breakfast was basic-toast and juice and limited cheese and ham. Your basically get what you pay for. The restaurant downstaairs was quite nice for dinner however and the hostel provides you with dicount cards to get aroun 25% off all meals and drinks in the bar/restaurant.

breakfast was good and rich ( teas, caffee, milk, various cornflakes, egg, cheese, butter, jams etc) hot shower available , there was a shower room near my room, so shower was so easy for me. there is a bar, breakfast was in bar and free. dinner available but not free offcourse:) internet was good but i couldnt use in room so i had to be in bar everytime ( loudly, so you cant watch film or do skype) locker works with your own padlock and it was good, big enough I LOVE THIS HOSTEL( LIKE HOTEL)
