Nothing special but also nothing to complain about.
i liked the hostel. The 16 bed dorm is really good, big, with great beds, and lockers. They dont have a kitchen, and for a backpacker, this is essential! The wifi is slow, and dont work inside the dorms. At breakfast we always had to wait for plates and knife(they were all dirty) The staff of the bar during the night was really nice. And I liked the walking tour. The cleanliness was perfect, and the showers the best i ever used in a hostel, Congrats!
This was a decent hostel: great if you're looking to have a good time as the bar out front is always lively and it's a ten minute walk from the centre. Staff were helpful but our key cards kept not working which was slightly annoying. There was also a bad smell in the downstairs dorm but I can only hope this isn't permanent.
The staffs were super great and friendly! We hung out at the bar and even went out at night. I met some great people at the hostel, as well as some odd ones. The downsides are that the shower is quite tight and can get grimey and that there was only ONE electric socket in an 8 bed dorm. The door to my room doesn't close all the way so it doesn't always lock. There was an old regular who has been visiting the hostel's bar for years (or decades?), she had a sad story but got really mean at times.
We were very dismayed when we opened the door to our room. The mold smell just about knocked us over. Somewhere that room has had a water leak at some point that has caused mold growth and is a health hazard. I was impressed with the total cleanliness of the room itself, but can't recommend my stay to others unless the private 2 bed room is cleaned by professionals for mold removal. I realize that this is probably expensive, but needs to be done for roomers health.

Rooms were clean, great atmosphere, there were a few issues with the wifi when we were there but it got fixed as we were leaving. The showers and toilets downstairs near room 1 always seemed to smell funky, but were clean. Perhaps just the damp smell. Thanks to Caitlin for the awesome walking tour and beer tasting! ...the pub crawl was average though.
