Internet only in the bar. Poor security in buildings that are not in the main building (where check in and bar are). Great hostel to meet young travelers! Great if you want to party and drink and do reckless, loud, crazy events. Bruges is beautiful and you MUST ask for the recommendation of the staff for waffles from the street vender (they told us the vender who has his cart by the Holy Blood church). Also go to Fritterie 1900 for delicious double-fry fries that you can dip in 20-odd sauces

No bathroom in our four bed dorm was a bit annoyin (room 8) there wasnt even one on our floor. then the one downstairs was locked for maintenance. we didnt wash as a result haha. everything else was great though. good bar, easy to meet people and good location.

The common areas were great. The bar was really good. Breakfast really good, but upstairs the closest toilets and showers to our room were out of order which meant that the next nearest were always really busy. There were only 2 female showers, but one of the shower doors wouldnt lock and the door would just swing open. Also, the 1 shower that was available on our floor wouldn't drain well at all.

Bed bugs, i got bitten on a top bunk. Other than that, great place, friendly bartender and staff.

The bar downstairs is quite nice, with several options of beer and good music. On the down side, that is the only common living area and your room might be in another building. Wifi available only in the bar.

Not far from the center (markt) and really nice atmosphere. Staff is amazing and I highly recomend it for lonely travalers to groups.

Great hostel, great location. Make sure you take some of Kai's tours/beer tasting.

Nice hostel, just didn't seem to be well cleaned. Staff was good!

This hostel is near to the historical city of Bruges, so you can easily walk to the city for visiting it. The hostel itself is quite okay, the dormitory was okay, but there was only one toilet and one shower for the whole floor, so it's better if you wake up early in the morning if you don't want to wait too long.

You only get wifi in the lobby, our room smelled like gutters

Good hostel bar with beer a lot cheaper than center of Bruges. Generally friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in one of the private triple rooms with shared bathroom - room was clean and spacious - plenty of room for the 3 of us. However - showers were cold whenever we tried to use them and there was only one working toilet on our side of the hostel. When this got blocked it meant going all the way downstairs and through the bar if you needed to use the facilities - this was less than ideal.

Dorm room bunks were great although walls were thin so it was a a little loud at night. Bar area was cool and front desk staff were helpful. Laundry was close by and bike rental through the hostel was easy and affordable. Location isn't exactly central but with Bruges as small as it is it didn't matter much at all. Would have liked to have had wifi in the dorm room but would stay here again for sure :)

Nice staff and great community area. We were sad we weren't able to be in the same room when we booked together but overall we were happy with our experience here.

Fantastic hostel. Excellent staff especially the bar man who was kind enough to keep the bar open when arriving there at 1AM. Customer service at its finest. Very well located walking distance from the Belfry. Would certainly recommend to others visiting Bruges.

Very accommodating staff, clean and safe hostel in a perfect location.

Liked the atmosphere - probably because I was with others from Busabout. Though very dissatisfied with there being no kitchen which is essential for backpackers. However staff were extremely helpful

Great atmosphere and excellent bar downstairs - the beer tasting is definitely something to check out!

The door on our private room (don't remember the room number) didn't lock unless closed very hard. We didn't realise this for the first few days so our room was unlocked the whole time

Great place! Loved it! Would return for sure!

Great place to stay! An excellent value. The only downside was the lock to our room was broken, bit the main building card reader worked just fine. Also, it's in Bruges, so we didn't exactly need fort Knox. Clean, friendly, great breakfast, excellent bar.
