St Christophers is located just outside of the centre, about a 10 minute walk which is fine once you've had a couple of Belgian beers! Everyone was so friendly, I didn't sit next to someone without having a chat. It's definitely good if you are looking to be sociable. The staff were friendly and helpful, one have us directions to some fantastic little bars. Would definitely recommend.

Not the cleanest and bathrooms and showers were not great. Fantastic atmosphere loved the bar and all the activities that set off from the hostel (free walking tours, pub crawl). Location is great just a short walk to be in the main square. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip would definitely return. Very safe and secure lockers in rooms and safes available.

It was disappointing that there are no kitchen facilities available on this hostel.

The overall vibe of the hostel was really boring everyone just sat on their phones quietly. The only available food at the bar is reheated frozen pizzas. The staff were extremely unhelpful when asked where to go out after being told the pub crawl that is advertised at reception is just not on (saturday night).

Hi, thank you for leaving feedback about your stay. The atmosphere of the hostel communal area can vary greatly with the type of guests who happen to be around. We apologise if the staff were unable to provide sufficient information about the Bruges nightlife. We have now created an information pack for new staff that are less knowledgeable about the local bars so they are better equipped to answer those questions. - The Bauhaus

Not as good as the other St Christopher's hostels. It smelled like bathroom and the wifi only worked in the front of the hostel. It was an okay room though, clean beds and facilites! Wished there was a kitchen or some sort of refrigerator. It was close to town though, maybe 10 mins walk.

Hi, thank you for your review. We are currently assessing the possibility of a guest kitchen, though at this time we offer the possibility of storing refrigerated goods by leaving them with the receptionist. We hope you are able to visit us in the again! - The Bauhaus

I stayed in a 10 bed pod dorm which was great, you had privacy and your own space whilst still meeting heaps of people, though I don't know what the regular dorms were like. There's no wifi in the dorm rooms though, only in the common area which got rather annoying at times. The free breakfast was good, and the bar is open virtually all night. It's a little bit of a hike to get to the main square in Bruges but luckily the city is pretty small anyway.

This place is fantastic. WiFi could be better, and access to a kitchen.

Damp in the room, made my throat/mouth hurt for a few days afterwards. Apart from that, all good

All in all a good hostel. I stayed in a pod bed and they were fantastic. It felt like having my own room. The room had large windows and heaps of natural light. A little far from the market square, about a 10 min walk. Breakfast was average. Bread, cereal, juice, hard boiled eggs. No wifi in rooms, a bit annoying and then in the communal area where it worked, it cut out every now and then. Not a big deal though. Everything was really clean except for the floors. I would stay there again.

I really liked the location of this place, it's on the edge of the city but only about a 12 minute walk to the heart of Bruges. There are some really nice shops along the street from the hostel to the center and if you walk the other way towards the canal a couple blocks away there are lovely parks and windmills. I was in one of the newer dorm rooms which was nice as it had curtains and locked storage boxes. It was hot as hell when I was there and the hostel didn't have many fans, only issue.

Very helpful staff, quite good location although a 15 min bus ride from the station. Great bar and atmosphere, loved the pub quiz. Staff always helpful. Very relaxed environment, easy to meet new people. Loved the beds having 2 plugs, a light and a curtain. Bathrooms good. Fridge available to use if you ask the staff but a kitchen area would be good

Super awesome hostel with a great atmosphere. A little bit out of the city which sucks because it's about a 15 minute walk to get anywhere worth seeing but the walking tour and beer tasting events are great. Breakfast was minimal but beds were comfortable and quiet.

The staff as very friendly and sociable. The hostel even hosted a beer tasting pub crawl which helped in making friends and getting o know the city. Hostel itself was not a pleasant stay. While this place was clean everything was old with chipped paint, rusted metal, and water stains. The entire building lingered with a faint but fouls stench of a public toilet.

Hi, We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. Unfortunately during your stay we were experiencing problems with a broken drain cover that has now been repaired. Our maintenance is also ongoing and we are constantly working to aesthetically improve the few remaining older rooms. We hope you are able to visit in the future to see these changes. Thank you. - The Bauhaus

Good hostel, no laundry or kitchen though, which sucks when your travelling through Europe. Staff could be quite blunt/rude at times. Despite this, the hostel has a great energy and can be quite fun. Warning, it's a party hostel so people will come home at 3am and make noise. Grab some free ear plugs at reception and you'll sleep like a baby!

Another bar at the entrance! Got to love that. Bit of a maze to find the room, but after a few times it became charming. Friendly staff, great bar and a solid breakfast. Guy puked in our room, no problem getting another bed in another room in the middle of the night. Backpacker-recommended!

The hostel is pretty good. Good staff, clean, nice atmosphere. I would only point out the lack of Wi Fi in the rooms as a lowlight, but you can use it at the bar and reception, so no big deal.

It was our first time staying in a hostel and we all felt we had a great time and got more than we had hoped for what we payed. The bathrooms and showers were perfect, and the staff was great. We had rented four bikes and after one of them breaking down a bit, we were happy to get a refund on the bike (and a round of beers) but the bike actually wasn't rideable until we used a belt and some hair ties to keep it together long enough to get back to the hostel so I hope the bike#12 or #13 was fixed
