Loved the atmosphere here and the people were awesome. The pub crawl group the night I went celebrated my birthday and made a lot of great friends.

There's no elevator so watch out if you're on the thrid floor with a big suit case! Hopefully, a member of the staff helped me!
This was a good hostel. The staff were nice and helpful, the breakfast was pretty good and the bar next door was really cool. But the rooms and bathrooms were fairly dirty and broken doors everywhere. It was an alright stay for 2 nights but i wouldn't stay any longer than that.
This place is amazing. Atmosphere and interest of staff also location are wonderfull. Especially music and place ıs very nice in the night. Thank you Crıstopher Inn Bauhaus. See you next time again.
St. Christopher's Inn has a friendly and accommodating staff. It was a great place to stay during the off season (April 2014). The only suggestion I would have is to check the facilities a bit more often since I found a nasty band-aid in a particular shower stall, which was there throughout the day.
Excellent stay. Fun social interaction with entertaining free walking tour, beer tasting and pub crawl. Good and clean amenities, comfortable beds, good basic breakfast. Walking distance to Bruges Central Square and Belfry. Highly recommended.
Lotte was a lovely staff membe, though she has left, on the other hand one of the barmen was miserable and failed to reply to a 'how are you?' with more than a begrudging grunt. The lockers were those cage-draws that kind of suck since people could just reach through the bars. The curtained beds were awesome though! What pissed me off was that for some reason ~20 rude québécois 15yr old students were allowed to stay there with their teachers in separate rooms. Kids yelling at 7am isn't cool...
It's a tossup between this hostel and the Kex in Reykajvik Iceland as to which one was best. Bauhaus is definitely the best one I've stayed at in Belgium (by far) and any hostel in the Netherlands. Privacy curtain on solid bunk, comfortable mattress, reading light, large shower, clean, free breakfast, 10-15 minute walk from Center, grocer 2 minute walk from hostel. Security drawer under bunks is spacious, bring your own padlock. Great hostel.
This is a great place to stay in Bruges. There's a bar downstairs, friendly and cool staff, decent music and a good walking distance from everything you could want to see in town. We stayed in the private room that shared kitchen, lounge and bathroom with two other couples and it was fine. Really clean and everything worked just fine.
The breakfast is sumptuous and the toilet is like paradise

Excellent hostel with helpful staff and great location
Stayed in two rooms: one with the pod beds was great. Second, with just bunk beds, hardly had power sockets and the lockers didn't actually lock. Definitely a party hostel, so don't expect a full night's sleep.
No bathrooms upstairs, not enough showers. Stuff did not inform us and seemed to be surprised about that. There were some signs like "sorry to disturb, we have some problems" but it seems it is on going for some time. No lockers, but this should be fine. Positive side: they organize some fun stuff like beer tasting and walking tours.
Awesome hostel! Cool people, charming bar and chill out area, friendly staff. It was really awesome to stay there, the only drawback was that our locker was not really locking properly. However, the manager of the hostel saw that and saved all our stuff in his personal office, including little change and everything. Just check your locker to be safe and then I would highly recommend that hostel!
the bathrooms where out of order in half the building, the girl at reception is useless, just an overall bad hostel
If you're going to be out until morning, by all means head to this place. It does the job. If not, you're not going to sleep here. They play music at f***-you volume until 0600. I particularly enjoyed trying to fall asleep to Smells Like Teen Spirit. The barman was a c***, but the guy checking us in was nice enough. Despite having 'checked in' via the online service, we still had to fill out the usual reams of forms on arrival, which was disappointing. Good party hostel, else f*** it.
Unfortunately we had to leave hostel but it seemed a good one. Staff was good but it is really hard to find front desk to check in. And there was only one lady and many travellers. One of the bad stuff was: there was a staff who are trying to invite people a beer tasting night at the bar. He was really pushing people like "why don't you want to join? you don't like having fun. okey you don't like having fun". Is that only way to have fun? the Staff should know where to stop. he was annoying.
This place had very friendly and helpful staff with a great atmosphere in the bar in the evening. The security facilities were just a cage under your bed which you pop your bag in and then padlock. But as it's a cage it would be easy to get fingers in and slide things out of the gap between the lid. The beds were great which included a good night light, a curtain and sockets. Although the mattress and pillow weren't too comfy I still had a great nights sleep! Would definitely reccommed
Very nice staff, seem to try their best to help people and getting solo travelers to socialize more. Very good breakfast as well. The curtains within the bunk beds are a great idea, whish more hostels had those. Clean bathrooms and a safe environment.
Some bedrooms seem older and some showers were not in service, otherwise, good hostel!
