Friendly staff, decent location near the monorail and good facilities.

The staff at this hostel are awesome. They will do their best to help you in any way they can and provide information on how to get around KL. The beds are good, the pillows are good, the bathrooms are clean and nice and so are the showers. I only stayed there for 2 nights but I could have stayed much longer if I haven't had an onwards flight to catch. It is situated on the 2nd floor near a McD, a Watson shop, Starbucks and loads of restaurants in the area.

Great place to spend a couple nights in KL. Location is fantastic, next to Pavilion and Monorail. Hostel staff were lovely and easy way to meet loads of types of travellers. Will be back on my return for sure. Lockers are huge which is great, bed super comfy. Wifi great. Need to be quiet after 12 though...we got told off a couple times just for having conversations in the breakfast area and was meant to go in the back to the washing machine area haha!!

Pros: very clean and comfortable, especially for the price. Social atmosphere, located near all the bars and clubs as well as monorail and short taxi to the main tourist attractions (lake gardens, islamic museum, national mosque). Cons: It is very hard to find. From a car on the street you cannot see the sign at all because of construction. It has a yellow doorway, between McDonalds and Watsons. Also, security was poor - staff will buzz in anyone and no lock on the bedroom.

This is my second time stay in Sunshine Bedz KL. The hostel is located right in the bukit bintang area. The staff is very helpful. Bed was nice. Good for money. It will be much better of the hostel apply age-restriction. Last time I stayed, there was old guy who took my pillow when I was out for dinner :( He returned the pillow when he saw me back.

Very centrally located and easy to find. Showers and toilets are clean but the sink is one big communal sink. The hostel has two binders of things to do in KL & Malaysia. Staff are helpful in planning where you want to go and do but don't really socialize with you. Breakfast is just toast and jam with coffee. Having fruit would make this hostel better overall. At least the beer is cheap.

Amazing hostel! If you're in Kuala Lumpur you must stay here! I booked 1 night and stayed 3 it was so good. The whole place is brilliant - super clean, very comfortable beds, a nice breakfast, very social and so easy to meet people. The staff are also fantastic, especially Elly and Rain, thanks for being so fun, friendly and welcoming! Brilliant location too just by the monorail and free bus stop. Can't recommend this place enough.

Great hostel, very friendly and perfect location. Walkway to Towers and free bus network just outside door. Watch your stuff carefully in Pavillion shopping centre. Have stayed at this hostel many times now and will continue to do so. Thanks Patrick and staff for running the best hostel, just need some hooks in that room!

Bathroom has a giant hole in the ceiling which meant we had numerous cockroaches coming into our room Location was great, a bit hard to find just look for McDonalds and Starbucks

Nice place to stay in KL, and convenient location to the monorail. Easy to meet other travelers in the common area. Awesome shawarma place around the corner that's open til 3 most nights.

Great hostel. Very cleans, staff are helpful and great atmosphere. The only negative is they are very strict on the silence in the common areas after midnight rule. This wasn't a big deal since the hostel I s near a bunch of bars so we just went out at midnight.

Only there for one night but was allowed to keep my luggage there even after checkout! The staff are so sweet and helpful and the bed was one of the comfiest hostel beds I've slept in! Also amazing location!

Unreal value for money because of location, staff, facilities, the owner patrick is awesome. Literally next to the bukit bintang monorail. Security style door entrance. Close to jalan aloor (food street) and changkat (bar street). There is also a great shawarma place just outside. Coming back in a week or so. Walking distance to every main tourist stuff.
