Hostel was fine with breakfast of toast and coffee. Security was different from what I'm used to (need to be buzzed in and and, no keys for rooms) but worked out fine. Clean place with good wifi and nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city

Definitely my favorite hostel to stay in so far (granted I've only been in 3). Still, the facilities were superb. Always cleaned and of good quality. ALL staff is extremely helpful, but especially Patrick and the Asian girl at the front desk. If you need advice Patrick is the one to ask and he'll usually be trying to get you to go out and explore the city anyhow. The common area is very conducive to meeting people if you like, and while not air-con, is still cool. Will be back if ever in KL!

Choosing Sunshine Bedz KL convenient option when going to KL for a weekend. Its proximity to places of interest makes it the best option.

Our room was upstairs facing the street, and the window insulation is not very good, so it is more noisy than I expected. Thankfully we were all very tired so it was not too big of an issue. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

The hostel has great location, helpful staff. It's easy to reach attractions, eateries, shopping malls in Bukit Bingtang. The only matter is it does not provide drinking water. You have to pay for every single bottle of water.

A really nice place. Lots of young peeps to hang with, who are all super friendly because the place gives off such a chilled vibe. Everyone I met was so open-minded and just stoked to be travelling around S/E Asia. Sometimes people are too cool to chat with strangers, but not here. Also the staff are dope, and the facilities are top notch and beds/ rooms super clean, although I heard someone complaining about bed bugs. Staff were on top of fixing this tho, an was fine as far as I noticed.

I didn't stay long (checked in and checked out the same night because I was actually going to a friend house), but I got to stay a few hours at the hostels before leaving: The security looked perfect, lockers in rooms, check at the door etc. Staff were nice but the two persons at the front desk could barely speak any english, they just understood NOTHING, i could only speak with the manager that spoke good english. The atmosphere looked great though, people were all nice, from guest to staffs.

My favorite hostel in my entire 5 months of traveling SE Asia! Extremely clean... I don't think I've ever seen a dirty toilet. Staff are so friendly and make an effort to learn your name. WOW the location... steps away from the free 'GO KL' bus and the monorail, and bar street. Patrick really does go above and beyond in creating a social atmosphere. Had an amazing time! Definitely recommend it, you won't regret it!

Although it has wifi, but the signal in the room is practically useless. And the fact that we have to climb up flights of stairs is a minus. Other than that, the hostel is very clean and the location is a huge plus. With the price and the location, we have nothing to complain. But it would have been really really great if it had better wifi connections upstairs.

Amazing! That's simply the best way to describe Sunshine Bedz. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, thanks for making my few days in KL a success and an absolute blast. The hostel itself is clean, provides a friendly atmosphere and is located close to the best bars and sightseeing spots in Kl. Stay at Sunshine Bedz, you won't regret it. I hope to see you all again the next time I come through the city.

Great location, clean facilities, free toast for breakfast. and friendly staff. Good security-safe buzz you in. No locks on room doors but everyone has own locker.

The location was the best factor in this hostel. The staff were just okay - they didn't have any maps available and weren't very informative. It's also 2 floors up the stairs so if you have a heavy suitcase, keep that in mind. The room that I stayed in was a 4 bedroom female dorm and it was quite small. The ventilation's also not that great so it tends to smell a bit in the lobby. The AC's great though, and the washrooms and the showers are clean.

Very helpful in showing you how to get places via public transit. Located in the heart of shopping and enterainment district. Not necessarily a "party hostel" but Patrick gets a group together each night for those who want to go out and party. Stay here.

My second stay. Great as previously.

Great location, right next to the LRT, foodie area and several shopping malls. Staff really friendly and easy to joke around with. Bathroom facilities near spotless. Only downside was room with window had daylight LED sign RIGHT outside which didn't help at night. Traffic noise from outside VERY loud, especially with the road words that continue until 1am easily. Good value for money and easy to meet new people.

Staff is very friendly, hostel is clean and even though it is a shared bathroom, never experienced a long queue on my 3 nights stay.

(Sorry Patrick for not writing in English...) Sunshine Bedz is the place to be in KL! Perfect location in the heart of Bukit Bintang, a minute away from the Monorail-Station. Party or a good sleep: you decide, you'll get both! Staff is the nicest ever with Patrick being a great host, knowing the city and where to go. Clean rooms, air-con, comfy beds,... This hostel has all you need (except a free foot-massage maybe, but you can get that anywhere within 10m from the hostel.
