it was really intereting !!!!! there is no reception desk. i think this hostel is for someone who wants to stay freely! we enjoyed our time but the problem is that there is no hot shower!!!! if u want, u have to go another apartment(its near your apartment less than 1 min!)

I was here for two weeks. Great hostel, cheap, relaxed, with a lot of nice people coming in and out. Free laundry, fast internet, cheap rental bikes, and the best location in Taipei. The decor is strange, but it grows on you and it really adds charm. Knocked security because there are not always lockers available, the ones available are tiny, and there are many security cameras around but most of them are broken and the way they are arranged leaves many blind spots.

I thought this hostel was very unprofessional. We were asked to give an arrival time, yet despite this no one was there until about 3 hours after our arrival time to let us in. The only way to contact the one person who runs this hostel is by calling her, but we couldn't figure out how to operate a pay phone so we had no way to call. Also, we had to use an elevator access key to get to our room, but we had to share it with other travelers which was extremely inconvenient.

Very homey and comfortable. If you like communal living you will enjoy this place. Great leopard decor.

In the building it is very cramped; a twelve person room with the mattresses next to each other, no real separators, no curtains on the window, light left on most of the night (2 of 3 nights), no proper storage for luggage. People chatting in the room until 3 in the morning. Only one bathroom (with shower) for 18 people. No real common room to sit and chat/hang out. Very cramped hostel. Friendly owner though. Not to be recommended,

Had a great time! Good price, great hospitality. Cindy welcomes you into Taiwan as though you have known each other for years.
