We are a bunch of people who love travel and also we are so in love with diving in the ocean. Therefore, we notice that Lighthouse always be the most important way for leading people to go home when we are traveling around,
Hence, we build the hostel which is Lighthouse style for backpackers and travelers to feel at home even they are traveling around.
We hold every different kind of event for backpackers to enjoy and meet the people who come from the world.

Well-situated in downtown area of Taipei, Taipei Discover Hostel is a popular accommodation choice for either business or leisure trip. From here guests can enjoy easy access to all that the lively city has to offer. With the resturants, attractions and shopping stores within close reach, visitors to the hostel will just love its location.

Taipei Discover Hostel was founded by a group of scuba-diving friends, who had traveled the world and had met wonderful people along the way. In return, they had the idea that they should offer foreign travelers a home-away-from-home in their native Taipei.

Offering comfy rooms and good food, Discover Hostel is a social place to meet friends and discover the beauty of Taipei. There are 76 sets of chic beds available in the 3-storey building. Each bed comes with a set of wall lamp and socket.

Front Desk Hours:
・Weekdays (Sun-Thu): 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
・Weekends (Fri & Sat): 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Check-in Guidelines:
・No eating or drinking in rooms (except drinking water).
・Please keep noise levels low after 10:00 PM.
・Always carry your room key card when entering/exiting.
・Store valuables in the provided lockers.
・Check-out time: Before 12:00 PM (Late check-out: $100 per hour).
・For conversations/phone calls, please use the 7th-floor lounge area.

Late Arrival Policy:
・If arriving after front desk hours, please contact us in advance:

　Female Guests: Your key card will be placed in a locked shoe cabinet on the 5th floor. Please request the access code from us.
　Male Guests: Please go to the front desk table on the 5th floor and retrieve your key from the yellow envelope labeled with your name.
After collecting your key, you may take the elevator directly to the 6th floor for check-in.

***Property Policies & Conditions:
1. Check in from 3pm and check out until 12pm.
2. Both cash and credit card (Visa, Master) are accepted upon arrival.
3. Cancellation policy: At least 3 days advance notice before the arrival date is required for cancellation free of charge.
4. Age restriction: The minimum age to stay at the hostel is 16 years old.
5. Smoking is not allowed.
