Cats Porto has an unbeatable location in the 'heart of Porto', next to the Cathedral which is a 'World Heritage' protected area. Our three buildings are just 50 mts away from the São Bento metro station and just 10 minutes walking from Bolhao metro station (which has a link to the Airport). The main bus line (Rede Expressos) is just 15 minutes on foot.

Our Location: We are in a quiet area of Porto, is perfect for resting, but at the same time really close to the city center and all the main city attractions are walking distance (Se Cathedral, Sao Joao Theatre, D. Luis I bridge, Ribeira, Clerigos Tower, etc.) The main shopping streets in Porto, bars, restaurants, supermarkets are all very close as well. And if you want to party, the best nightlife spots are just ten minutes’ walk from the hostel!

Our Facilities: We've created a new level of comfort and intimacy in all our spaces, our main purpose is to adapt to all your needs always with a friendly and informal atmosphere! All our rooms have private bathrooms, spacious individual lockers, and AC.. And some rooms have even breathtaking views of the city!

We have 3 options for our breakfast: full breakfast at only 7€, cake and coffee at 4€ and coffee at 2€. We have towels to rent for 4€. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the hostel. On departure day, we have luggage storage for 2 € where bags can be left while you get your last tastes of the city!

Our Common Areas: On sunny days you can relax in our famous rooftop or watch the sunset with a drink from the bar. Feel in a mood for a BBQ? Let's do it! We also have a cozy reading lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. You may don’t have to use it if you join one of our free dinner nights! In our bar, we also serve delicious snacks and we have an amazing Happy Hour!!

Except the staff, i'm not satisfied or happy with my stay there. Cons: Voice isolation is zero as usual. People you stay with matters most. Mine was quite weird and noisy. Beds don't have curtains. Beds doesn't make any sound, just your own sound disturbs people. And even though people are grown ups they don't know how to be fucking silent at night. Toilet and shower are also not soundproof. They don't give towels. Lockers also, its 5€. Pros: Very central. You can go everywhere by walking. They give blankets which keep you warm, beds are comfy, ac works 7/24. Warm water is working. Kitchen is cute, common areas are also. Reception is open all the time and they are also so cute :)) When it's dark, curtains are not a problem since nobody sees each other. The building was silent. But if someone snores, god bless u bro i couldn't sleep even 1 night. All 3 nights was like a nightmare because of people i was staying with. This will be my last hostel experience.

i had a great time at cats, the beds were comfy, the AC worked very well, and i happened to go when there was a great group of people so the ambience was so fun. It doesnt seem to be too too social bjt there is a few common spaces & with the right energy, will be easy to connect. Also great location, had a great time at cats, Meowwww!

The Cats Porto Party Hostel is located just around the corner from Sao Bento metro station and the funicular. It features a large rooftop terrace, a full kitchen and rooms which are all ensuite. We particularly like their bunk beds, with individual reading lights, power and usb sockets and underbed lockers. Hostelworld guests have highly recommended this hostel and say they?d stay here again; one guest told us, ?my favorite place was a terrace where we could sit in the evening having a drink and chatting with friends?.
