The Passenger Hostel

The Passenger Hostel is a high standard rebuilding project, with very comfortable and cozy rooms and well-equipped facilities. The staff is highly focused to make your trip into an unforgettable experience. We are proud to be a Green Key Awarded Hostel that adopted all the eco-friendly solutions in order to be efficient and respect the environment.

The Passenger Hostel is located at São Bento Train Station one of the most beautiful buildings of Porto, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Yes, we are part of the train station's magnificent building. We are nearby most of the landmarks of the city, at a walking distance, such as Aliados Avenue, Clérigos Tower, Douro riverside, and Galerias de Paris street. In addition, Santa Catarina shopping street is less than three minutes walking from our facilities.

The Passenger Hostel offers private and shared accommodation, a bar and free WiFi access. Dorm rooms feature a private locker for each guest, a curtain for more privacy, a bedside power socket and an individual light. All rooms have access to shared bathrooms with a shower and a hairdryer. Guests are welcome to use the shared kitchen, and the area is filled with great dining options. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests use. Inside you can also find a Bar with a Lounge area where you can have a drink, listen to some music and relax.


The Passenger Hostel Policies and Conditions:

Cancellation policy:
- Free up to 5 days before arrival day for Standard rates. First night is charged if cancelled past the cancellation period.
- Non-refundable rates are charged 100% on the day of the booking and are not subject to reimbursement in case of cancellation.
- In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Check-in from 15:00 to 24:00.
Check out before 11:30.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
This property might pre-authorize your credit card.
City tax is charged in cash only, at arrival.
There is a Key deposit of 5EUR given in cash on arrival, that will be refunded when keys are returned.

Taxes included (except the city tax of 3€ / person / night, charged on arrival in cash only for all rates)

General:
For reservation of more than 6 nights and/or 5 beds/2 private rooms specific policies apply. We will contact the guests with further information. If a reply is not received within 24 hours, the reservation will be cancelled.

We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age without supervision.
