Good if you like sleeping to the sound of a motorway. Staff generally wearing a vacancy sign, but one girl was sharp and the beer and pancakes well received.

Good pancake breakfast and a free beer each night. Buy the bus station but nothing else...

We really enjoyed it. We have come back to LaPaz and we are staying here again.

Booked a private room, when we arrived we were told the room was unavailable. They put is in a 4 bed room and said there would be no one else with us... arrived back later to find two more people had checked in. Location is BAD, a long walk to the main street, but CLOSE to bus station.Pancakes for breakfast were great, good sized free beer every night was tasty. Access to other AB hostel just down the road, and a good tour office as well. No pots and pans in the kitchen. Cooked pasta in a kettle

Did the job. We needed a place to stay as we passed through La Paz, the beds were comfy, it had all the facilities we needed but the place is looking a little tired and needs a freshen up. Bathroom in our room needed a really good clean.

WIFI did not work on the lower floors i.e.1-3. There was no kitchen to use to cook but it was only $10 a night so good value for money and the pancake breakfast was good.

Not quite a party hostel, but not a quiet one either...somewhere in between. Good facilities (although the interent PC's are a bit old) and if you are looking to meet other people a good place to go. Good points, bar, organised events, hot showers. Bad points, dirty kitchen, hostel on the main road into La paz and so front rooms are very very loud. If you are ill (as my husband was) this is really not the place you want to be. Easy to walk into La Paz however.

It is a nice place to stay with hot showers. It does verge on being a party hostel because a lot of the events run by the hostel happen in the bar at the B&B, so it can be quite noisy at times. That said there is always something happening and it´s a good place to meet other travelleres. The main negatives are: The pancake breakfast is rubbish - the pancakes are too doughy and cold. The communal kitchen is disgusting and the rooms are a bit mouldy. Also if you´re on the road it´s noisy.
