Excellent hostel and location, rooms and sheets are clean. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, it was our second stay at the hostel and we will be back.

We stayed in the double room with the balcony and it was like the penthouse suite.. large room, air con (which was a must when 35 degrees!), our own terrace. Be warned, you will be woken up at 5am by the cocks (chickens) just across the river which doesn't really stop all day, so take some ear plugs or drink to excess every night.

Very clean, the couple who run the place are very nice and helpful. Its great for people who want a quiet relaxing stay, not a party place. Internet connection was good. We had read (somewhere before booking) there were free surfboards to use, but found it wasnt the case. Cooking facilities were great. We stayed in the Superior Private room and it was better then we had expected, it was large with a big balcony and a good clean bathroom and we had cleaning service everyday. GREAT STAY!!! :)

We were blown away by the value of the service in Sayulita. If we ever return, we know our first choice for housing. We very easily could have stayed a few more days if we didn't have a flight to catch.

This is a real quality hostel: clean, secure, with great facilities inc. a kitchen, EXCELLENT bbq, friendly staff and (obscurely) a climbing wall. It's got it going on. Fully recommend.

This is a great hostel. The owners are very helpful and will help you get anywhere you want to go. The town and the beach are both in very easy walking distance, and I felt very safe even though I was traveling alone. I would definitely recommend it to other females traveling solo. The Wifi was also very reliable, and it was easy for me to find a quiet area to get work done on my computer while I was there.

I had a great time staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hostel was kept absolutely spotless, even though it was a busy time for them. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends.

This is a new hostel in Saylita (one year old) with a good location but be forewarned; it's very noisy! The dorms face a main road and there is constant traffic: cars, motorbikes, ATV's, pedestrians, vendors selling items with their loudspeakers; dogs barking and roosters crowing at all hours of the day & night! There also appears to be some kind of disco or music club next door. Plus the dorms are right next to each other so you'll hear everyone else having a good time even if you want to rest.

Amazing place with amazing staff and amazing everything. The hostel is not lying when they name the place Amazing Hostel. Thanks to Kathy and her super awesome mom and dad. I can't ask for any better place to stay. The hostel is the cleanest place I've been, and I've been to enough hostel in the last 4 months up and down south america. This is by far is the best hostel to stay at.

The hostel rocks! The ownership, staff, and free-spirited traveler vibe all make for an amazing stay. I was there in March and Sayulita was hopping and large groups of us from the hostel would go out every night! Fridge space, grill, electric plug for phones above ever bed, full kitchen access, uv treated water (make sure you turn it on!) it's the coolest hostel I have stayed in! Going back in May do a few days!

I don't know why they call this place a hostel it is nicer than most of the hotels we have stayed at. Great staff beautiful clean place in a perfect location and we had lots of fun. I would not only recommend The Amazing Hostel above any other hostel but I would recommend it above most hotels.

AWESOME hostel. Truly is Amazing. As a family, we stayed in a suite with private bath. We received a warm welcome from Kathy upon arrival. Kathy is cordial, kind, professional and helpful. The hostel is spotless, tastefully and artfully decorated and well located to the village, beach and bus stop. The common area is delightful, the kitchen well equipped and the pool area is refreshing.

the absolutely only negatives were that the hot water didn't work that well and our private room smelled mildewy/moist.

The Atmosphere was generally poor, it is not really a 'Party Hostel'... And one of the staff members was not the most friendly persons I have ever met, apathetic would describe her personality, although she was not the manager (She is a lovely person) The location is rocking, all in all, I would stay at this hostel again.. Stay classy San Diego!

New and clean hostel not too far away from the beach. Staff is excellent and helpful in any way they can. Kitchen is well equipped and organized. Pool is a plus, although real water is close enough. Recommended.
