I lived it here the people were great like a close community. close to stores and beaches. Just make sure you call ahead before coming.

Furniture was not clean and there was a strong tobacco smell in the lounge room.

This is not a crew house. Most of the people staying here are not even traveling they are just staying there for cheap accommodation. Average overal experience.

This hostel has no maontenance, it is filthy, trash everywhere even between the sofa cushions. No towel, no soap, no toilet paper. Just a place to spend the night, a sleezy joint.

close the airport - nice atmosphere - young staff - nice area close to las olas and the downtown are - to get to the beach its like a 30 minute walk but there is a trolley conveniently located blocks a few blocks away

good hostel for backpackers/travelers.a very open minded crowd. Mia was really cool and helpful, my room was pretty nice and clean.

liked the chocolate hostel i will come back. the staff was friendly. Mia helped me book a car rental for our trip to the keys. our room was proper and shared with not so many others. free parking was good as well as housekeeping.

I had a great time at the chocolate. Nice people, good atmosphere. enjoyed the music outside. The dorm was spacious and clean. the lockers were a plus. free parking and really close to the airport.

It is a motel style hostel. You get what you pay for. Dani was friendly so as the guest. Not really a backpackers place, buts its perfect for a couple of nights

you get what you pay for, a bed in a dorm which is apartment style. there's also a kitchen, I enjoyed not having to share with more than 3 people in a dorm. it is well located, accessible by bus from the airport. free wifi. nice helpful staff , nice area by the pool

the staff were very nice to be assisted by. Location was so nice to walk to things. I am a PhD. over 50, have a wife who keeps a neat house, have many children and just needed to rest in a low key place after minor surgery v.s. some posh-n-pricey place. Staying there was a guess on my part. 'Forgot about spring break in FL. I left early because I couldn't sleep with the music so loud so late so constant. No complaint from me really. I just needed to depart and get rest where it was quiet

Good location. Easy to get from Fort Lauderdale airport by bus or taxi (about $10). This is not a hostel is more like hotel. I'ts OK for a night or 2.

You get a full apt that with a full kiten and bath with great weekly rates, the bad sidie it is a half way house for the homeless people not a good place if you are just traveling.

I thought the place really dirty! Also they should look for their installations. The room has a poor illumination and the bathroom had some roles in the roof.

The building and apartment was in very bad shape.

The hostel was ok. It was located close to many restaurants, which was good in the evening - but far away from the beach. Still the hostel was nice and so was the room. Go there if you are young and don't mind taken the bus to the beach :-)

This place could be great, because it is apartment/motel style so you have good facilities in your room - ie full size fridge, lounge area with TV, sofa etc - however it needs a whole new approach to make it good, it seems there are lots of regular or on-going guests whom tend to hang around outside the rooms, smoking, drinking and playing loud music, they are very untidy and not real friendly either, some rules place would not go a miss.

The hostel is really well located close to the main areas in Ft Lauderdale. the atmosphere was really cool. Many travelers hang around by the pool. Mia helped me out with directions and was really friendly.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our private room upgrade. the room had a big bed, and it looked really clean and artsy. The music outside was nice, and we appreciated the fact it was so close to the airport and port everglades. staff was cool and young. Will be back!
